Pisces will swear their undying love and devotion to sometime and in the same 6 months decide they are a villain who deserves to be unhappy forever without anything changing and I think that's why so many people feel rubbed the wrong way by them even though ultimately they just blind themselves with their own excitement for what something "could be" instead of what it is and then get mad when they realize they are projecting on someone and then getting disappointed isn't actually someone else's fault
They are the ultimate day dreamer fantasy world mystic full of wonder sign and they deserve the world they are dreaming of and if they could stop blaming people for their own inner world dysfunction I truly think they can evolve to be everyone's favorite most nurturing and whimsical friend
you know how the days of the week are ruled by planets? the signs those planets are in and any conjunctions/notable aspects within your chart are helpful to figuring out what you could do on certain days
like monday is ruled by the moon (which is a luminary not a planet yeah yeah) and for most people you’d think it should be a day of comfort buuuuut if you have moon in aries or moon in gemini or moon in virgo, etc etc. monday’s can be a great day for you to be active and run the errands you’re needing to. but if you have moon in taurus or moon in cancer or moon in sagittarius, etc etc. then mondays are a day for you to indulge
wednesday is ruled by mercury so you’d think it should be a day to learn and be active but if you have mercury in taurus or capricorn or pisces or have your mercury conjunct the moon then wednesday’s can really be a ‘hump’ day for you since those energies don’t necessarily mix, it can make you feel sluggish so it’s best if wednesday is a day for you to recuperate and take your time
Was doing some research (as the buzz wears off) on Saturn going into Pisces. Neptune is already in Pisces - “heavy fog and water” is my first thought.
But the weird part is that the two will not be exactly conjunct until February 20, 2026 - at 0°43’ Aries. A very long build-up that has a surprise plot twist at the end.
Anyway, the last time both Saturn and Neptune were together in Pisces was intermittently between 1847-9. My friend Wikipedia provided me with some events which struck me as typical:
May 1847 - Architectural Association School of Architecture founded in London
May 7, 1847 - American Medical Association founded in Philadelphia
June 1, 1847 - first congress of the Communist League, London
February 21, 1848 - publication of The Communist Manifesto, London
February 1848 and onward - revolutions in France, Hungary, Germany, and elsewhere in Europe
March 18, 1848 - Boston Public Library opens
March 29, 1848 - Queen’s College, London, first to award academic qualifications to women
July 1848 - Public Health Act, England and Wales, begins to address sanitation issues
July 19, 1848 - first Women’s Convention in Seneca Falls, NY; introduction of “bloomers”
August 19, 1848 - first newspaper articles in eastern US about the California gold rush
January 23, 1849 - Elizabeth Blackwell becomes the first woman MD in the US
Looking up those years in art and music was disappointing, as there was a decided lack of definite dates. Grrr. But I found three representative things for 1848:
April 1 - disgusting POS of a human, composer Richard Wagner, first wrote down his intention to write what would eventually become his “Ring” cycle of four operas. Talk about a blend of inspiration (Neptune) and discipline (Saturn).
September 1848 - the pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood of artists, poets, and critics is founded in London.
And best of all, to me anyway: sometime before October 1848, Joseph Bracket wrote the song “Simple Gifts:”
'Tis the gift to be simple, ’tis the gift to be free
'Tis the gift to come down where we ought to be,
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
'Twill be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity is gained,
To bow and to bend we shan’t be ashamed,
To turn, turn will be our delight,
Till by turning, turning we come ’round right.
Makes me feel better about what’s to come, to think about those words - set, of course, to Aaron Copland’s wonderful music.
my 2022: i’m about to hit all your insecurities and it’s going to be so awful it’s great
my 2023: i’m about to hit all your deepest wounds and it’s going to be so awful it’s great
I hope this isn't true
The Water Houses: Unseen and Unknown
Recorded for myself, posted for others to reference. Read my blog bio or refer to my masterlist for more detail.
The 4th House: What You've Hidden
The 4th house rules the distinction between the private and public, in favor of the former. It's the house of domesticity, nostalgia, and the past, where we take shelter and tend to our foundations, which are critical to us and who we are, but are unseen by everyone else. Placements here are guarded and tender, and we only ever share them with those that we share our lives.
Because of this, there are parts of individuals with natal 4th house placements that they don't feel comfortable expressing in public or around those they don't know well. They may imitate those who raised them rather then risk revealing the skills, beliefs, and other aspects that they get from a planet in 4th, and they sometimes get offended if people expect them to be vulnerable about something they feel is reserved for those they are closest to.
The 4th house is counterpart to the 10th house. Together, these two houses form an axis of recognition.
The 8th House: What Others Have Hidden
The 8th house rules how our self, life, and world intersect with the value and values of others. It's a place of intimacy, transformation, and trauma, where we keep each other's secrets, and any secrets shared between us. Placements here are magnetic, intoxicating even, but we avoid acknowledging them in the open because the power they hold over us is terrifying.
Because of this, there are parts of individuals with natal 8th house placements that make others weirdly uneasy. People may refuse to acknowledge certain achievements or celebrate certain talents if they come from a planet in the 8th house, and they can react with much more hostility than is warranted to related mistakes or flaws. Even those you love and those who love you may find it deeply uncomfortable to witness this part of you.
The 8th house is counterpart to the 2nd house. Together, these two houses form an axis of worth.
The 12th House: What is Hidden from You
The 12th house rules the uncertain, in ourself and in the world. It is a void - simultaneously a place where we can hide, and a place that hides so much from us. Placements here are elusive and alluring, often inspiring as much fear and awe in us as they do confusion.
Because of this, individuals with 12th house placements may find themselves difficult to define, or even difficult to control. These natives may search for clarity on these parts of themself in others, but this rarely gives them any satisfaction. Only by accepting some level of mystery in themselves and in the world can they find peace with these placements. Otherwise, they risk falling into certain comfort traps like escapism, cults, and codependency.
The 12th house is counterpart to the 6th house. Together, these two houses form an axis of growth.
