And i know you absolutely did not ask for these but i just fuckin love looking at mercy so much it’s stupid, BUT I finally got the armor that doesn’t have the built in boob cut, they’re not quite as golden in the new stuff, but the flatter chest is a relief for me 😅

(I played around w a darker gold too, but I think I’m a sucker for that sort of enchanting gold, so now I hc the darker burnished version as a more stealth set)

A big thank you to @lottiesnotebook for tagging me!!! like a week ago shh I love making playlists, and music is usually my go-to method for getting In The Zone when I want to write! So this was both really fun, and really difficult to narrow down lmao

I'm going to tag @the-bear-and-his-sunbird @the-font-bandit and @broodwoof <3 (no pressure!!!)

I'm mostly a one-shot writer and I'm not about to subject you all to a song for every single one of those I've ever written. But I do have my multi-chapter Coralie Hawke duology already up, and then I'm working on two longer fics atm. So I'll just do those?

So these are both named after Taylor Swift song lyrics (from Evermore & False God respectively). Taylor sneaks her way onto every playlist I make I s2g.

But I think this song captures The Vibe of the whole duology really well, and GAWI in particular! I really wanted to tell a story about a group of people who love each-other so very much, finally getting to be happy together. And if you've read it, you'll know that Coralie & Anders are still SICKENINGLY in love post-DAI (bless them). So this song v much fits in with all that imo!!

The Spy Who Loved Me

I was gonna be so strong and not put one of the (5!!) Taylor songs on this playlist, here. But Renegade. for Shepard?? Like come on.

In all seriousness though, this song really fits the relationship between my Shepard and Samantha in this fic. I'm exploring what a romance route might've looked like if Samantha had been in the series from ME1, and I think this really captures the falling apart and back together sort of vibe I'm aiming for with them. And being a safe harbour for each-other and letting each-other in is such a core part of their relationship anyway in canon, too.

The Unnamed Ghilandruil Fic

This is THEIR song, to me (at least rn). The playlist for this fic is growing really fast, but this was the very first song I added to it and gosh it reminds me of them :')

A lot of the lyrics are incredibly on the nose (that entire chorus oof). And if I can be a bit literal for a second here, they really do follow each-other to the graveyard, don't they? :) Because they're imprisoned together :)))) And Andruil dies there :)))))))))) Feeling so normal about the Evanuris potentially watching each-other slowly die one-by-one over the course of centuries, always, at all times
