i will not write any form of s/a on this blog, for my comfort and that of others. but it will be implied, as reflective of canon events. while i don't feel comfortable writing it, omitting it feels to close to validation or glamorization to me. i will however write violence and non-sexual abuse, within limits. because i do feel it is important to portray valentino's vicious side as we see it in canon. however, i do always plot & set boundaries with muns who write characters that val has an abusive relationship with ( most notably angel dust ). other things that are a hard stop for me are inc/est, any illegal age gaps and zoo.

i also don't like to write / portray any ships with abusive and imbalanced power dynamics as "romantic". I don't mind writing these types of relationships, and even portraying them as softer or less problematic earlier in the timeline, before things start to decay. but i like to make it clear that this is not a healthy relationship and the characters involved are not meant to, and will not end up together. that is just a personal preference for me! mutually toxic ships without a power imbalance are a different ball park, thus i have less restrictions with them.

i would really like to write more in val's earlier timeline, and explore plots and dynamics prior to when he began an overlord. or while he was still establishing himself as one. the lack of established power levels the playing field in a way that opens much more possibilities. alos, val is a loot younger and less cruel then. he is generally more approchable.

i would also like to write more clandestine plots and schemes involving val's secret background as a former member of a major coven. or more clandestine plots involving underground business dealings connected to the vees' more unsavory ventures ( or specifically the darker dealings of what is going on behind the scenes of the vees' empower hell movement in season two ).

more dynamics with hellborn muses are always desired. as well as more platonic relationships overall. or casual flings, business connections or even politically motivated relationships. aaaand, of course, more interactions with val's staff. i would love to develop more connections with people who work for him.

an last but not least, deeper connections & those types of relationships that evoke genuine emotion from val.
