The Blood Puncher curse extends to videogames too. The only ones you can find on New Wirral are shitty movie tie-ins. However, the one for the DS is weirdly compelling. It's mostly a point-and-click adventure with a few rail-shooty segments in between that kinda suck. But it's full of these optional dialog trees that really flesh out the characters in ways you wouldn't expect. I looked into it, and it turns out it borrowed a lot of content from the cutting room floor. The original intent for the movie was to be more of a mystery, but then the producers wanted something shlockier so most of that stuff got scrapped. So in a weird way, the DS game is the most faithful adaptation of the screenwriter's original vision. A miracle it even got made, since it was a full two decades after the movie and I can't imagine anyone was asking for it.
Also, there's another game that's just a hastily slapped-together Doom WAD. Like, it's literally just Doom 1 with a paint job, they didn't change any of the levels or even the mid-chapter narrations. It rules.
