Top 5 people you like most in town?
Well obviously my sister comes first but I’ve already talked about her and about Carter more times than is healthy for his ego so in no particular order, other people I like in town…:
Alicia Campbell
- She keeps me on my toes. Alicia’s one of those people who really fits the Groucho Marx saying; ‘'If you're in jail a good person will try to bail you out, but a friend will be in the cell next to you saying 'Damn, that was fun!’…” She’s seen me in many of my worst moments and somehow it hasn’t phased her. I think it says a lot about her.
…. I just hope she won’t give me reason to distrust her…
Blake Parks
- She understands me. I never thought I’d get along with Blake. The fact that she doesn’t like Carter much and that she’s closer to Seth of all people made her seem like my exact opposite. Add to the fact that this blue-eyed belle seems to be reserved and keep out of the spotlight, I’d think she’d want nothing to do with me. Turns out Blake is unpretentious and sympathetic with a subtly sly sense of humour on the side. The more I talk to her, the more I find things we have in common.
… I just hope our choice in friends won’t end up becoming a problem…
Scott Danverport
- He keeps me grounded. Scott’s one of those guys who could have one hell of a gigantic ego. Probably the best swimmer in town and a team-captain to boot, you’d think the arrogance came with the territory. But strangely; it doesn’t. He’s down-to-earth and cares about other people, and he doesn’t judge them for who they are. Can’t go wrong with a guy like that.
… Now if I could only get him to seriously reevaluate his choice in girlfriends…
Emily Montgomery
- I admire her. Emily’s been through a lot and I don’t know how she keeps her head screwed on straight. She doesn’t have her parents around, has to live with her grandparents, constantly worries about them or has to care for them, and on top of that she’s unlucky enough to fall for Anthony of all people and get attacked at the Dance Marathon. Now he thinks she’s crazy and still, still Emily felt sympathy for the fact that he got a cut lip when attacked, rather than smack him hard enough to cut his upper lip too. I don’t know where she gets that heart of hers but its clearly better than this town deserves.
… Now if I could just get her to murder Anthony for me…
Kevin Holt
- He makes me smile. Kevin has one of those rare things called ‘discretion’. We’d seen each other enough times at the bar where he works, but unlike most bartenders he doesn’t try to pry into people’s lives or spread gossip about them when they’re having a bad night. I like that. The fact that he’s funny and upbeat is just an added bonus.
… I just hope he won’t regret his current mysterious relationship.
