I would like to read Bucky stuff when it comes to specific Avengers, but I feel I should not jump the gun and confuse myself and should proooooobably start with Steve? Yeah? I planned on following your read lists you have posted here when it comes to Bucky/Hawkeye/Iron Man, but yeah, Cap and Spidey and Deadpool are all characters I'm interested in~ Thank you for your help, love. <3

I've got a friend who just did a crazy read-through of Spidey & Deadpool, so I'll see what they have to say since they're outta my wheelhouse.

As for Bucky, that read list is somewhat abbreviated. I'd actually start with Avengers Mythos: Captain America. It's a beautiful single-issue summary of Cap's origin story in Marvel Comics. Then, given that you've seen the movies and get the gist of Cap as a person, you should be able to just jump into Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as listed on the read list. If you're looking to read all of Bucky's story, I can also hook you up with the rest of the list for New Avengers and Avengers when he's being Cap.

ohmygod so I figure you probably get these on the daily, but my boyfriend has been reading ultimate spider-man lately and it makes me want to read more marvel stuff and I want to look into avengers/S.H.E.I.L.D too but I'm not sure who to start with/what a good series to start with is. helpplease? (btw I miss your lovely face I NEED TO SEE YOU AT WORK MORE UGH)

So my recommendations are twofold:

If you're going to read anything Avengers, start with Avengers: Disassembled.

Send me characters/teams/etc. that you're interested in and I'll either send you existing read lists I have or start one for you if you'd like. Or at least point you in the right direction.
