Anon’s Fantasy:

The ship of a female sailor gets shipwrecked in a storm, and a mermaid finds the unconscious sailor and drags her to an uninhibited island. When the sailor wakes up she wonders how she survived the storm but she gets the suspicion that it might have something to do with the the woman in the water that's sometimes watching her, but leaves when she knows the human sailor has seen her.
