A Red-headed Snowflake ((For Meridafirearrows))

           Jack Frost was out flying around in the forest, creating snow to cover the green grass and the leaves on the trees. He had never been in this part of the world before. He found it exciting and hoped to find someone nearby to mess with. So far, no luck. He flew further into the forest and found a river. He smiled and went straight for it, freezing the water and sliding down the small waterfalls of it. "Whoo!!! Haha!!" He laughed and then flew off of the river and back into the forest where the trees began to show frost which he created. He then got his feet on the ground and stood behind some bushes as he spotted something. "A village!", he said, knowing that no one would be able to hear him, much less see him. "Huh, I wonder what this place is? Well, I'm sure they won't mind if a snowstorm suddenly came along.", He smirked with a small giggle.

It was a nice, warm Spring day. Jack was walking through the town where normally, tourists crowd every shop, every restaurant, every anything. It should have been packed today, but for some reason, it was empty. Jack walked along the sidewalks, looking for his favorite shop, the candy shop. Finally he came to the shop, went in, and purchased a nice size bag of his favorites. Walking out of the shop, he took a single piece and ate it. Candy was always his favorite.

He continued walking down an empty sidewalk, when all of a sudden, an alarm started to go off. He knew that sound all too well. A nuclear weapon was on its way. Panic took over as he started to sprint as fast as he could. 'I have to get back to my house' he told himself in a panic.

He ran as fast as he could. At his house, his parents and his sister were probably already in the shelter. They were probably scared to death, let alone probably more scared that their only son wasn't home yet.

Everything went by in a blur as he ran. But suddenly, Jack tripped over something on the ground and fell...hard. His landed with his stomach side down and his candy bag fell lose. He watched the candy roll away from him when all of a sudden a pair of feet stepped into his sight. He looked up from the feet at the face of the woman standing in front of him. "Merida?" he asked surprised "What're you doing here?"
