Merit [Intermediate Bark, Horrific Bite]: He’s barking and biting, that type of bite that when he pulls back he’s taking something with him

Pre-Rook Appreciation: Rook’s Regret
Hello! In preparation for @rookappreciationweek
I wanted to introduce the table of contents for this week! I have a lot of rooks some I no longer showcase but they still exist on this blog. So I’ve dedicated each day to use a themes from their Calendar. Into the magic! I’m posting this and the day one post! Excited to show more!
That’ll be my way of participating this week!
But on to the next half of this post, Sharing my Rooks Regret as an introduction! In order of the calendar.
Lucas Laidir-Hawke
A regret he will always have is the people he leaves to move ahead. The people he sacrifices to stay ahead. Love, friendship, family, Lucas acts in his own self interest. And that means all the choices he makes doesn’t really involve the team’s opinion. And he gets to live the choices he decided for everyone.
Mavros Mercar
The way he escapes his camp when escaping the Qun, had he left sooner, the death he caused the harm he caused, maybe he wouldn’t be as haunted by it as it is.
Yevven Aldwir
There are things he had wished differently in his early stages of life. His loyalty to the Evanuris is one of them. He still to the day can’t get out of that need to respect the gods. He can’t listen to those who don’t respect them but he also is against their teachings. One day he’d like to break his chains of lingering loyalty.
Grey Laidir
He holds many regrets for all the deaths that happen in his choices even with everyone’s involvement in the choices. He does the opposite approach to Lucas but still it seems like death is in every choice and he wishes he could take that away.
Kier Thorne
For becoming exactly what obsession wanted Becuase he was too scared of being alone.
Enyo Laidir & Stein Ingellvar
Two?! Yes two for one day and it’s important to me that I tell you about these two. I saved this one for last as I am bringing back to characters that are always incredibly interesting to me but I didn’t get to give them a more fulfilling end to their story with a lot of questions still open. That’s my personal regret so I am fixing that this week!
Enyo’s regret is never escaping his father’s grasp even far from him, Enyo will forever be a puppet to his father. Steins regret was not keeping a closer eye on his greatest subject.

Lucas having nice signature is just so cute to me. Plus I’m bias cause I also have an L name so I gave him more so my signature
Baishan seems like the type to write in all caps so that’s exactly what I wanted to do for his signature.
Scarlets is suppose to be more so italicized, and smaller than the others. But cute. I like it
Merits is decent, all smushed together. However he would purposefully sign his name over his face if he was ever asked for an autograph. Just to be an ass for asking him to sign.

Lucas & Juan’s Kid
Juan would only let this slide once because Lucas has a tendency to adopt a lot of strays
With their luck they would pick up some hot head kid, with an attitude problem. But Lucas fed him so now he’s just always at their place. Juan’s confused, Lucas is confused, but the kid has a home. He looks like Juan and Lucas just caved. He doesn’t have a name. Maybe one day
Akim & Baishan
Adopted 3 kids, Baishan is a family man. He wants a huge family and keeps picking up wide eyed kids. Akim can’t say no but loves them. Baishan knows a lot of kids in that situation of being on the streets, and how most go to the crows and as much as he likes his job he’d never actually want that for anyone.

[Beckon] - Sender sees receiver and lifts their arm up so they can come hug/cuddle them
I love these little guys so much. They are just go GAH I want to eat them up.
Jasmine had had a long day, Minrathous had been crawling with more venatori by the day. That realization weight on them, the heavy burden of their home being overrun with cultist. They got back up to the lighthouse tired, letting out a yawn.
“Darling, You seem tired.” A pair of warm arms wrapped around them. That voice! Jasmines head turned back, seeing merits soft expressions, “Long day?”
Jasmine let out a breath and nodded, “You have no idea.”
“You should have let me know you were going to minrathous love, I hate to see you so upset like this.” He stepped back to let them have some space but pressed a kiss to their cheek.
Jasmine let out a soft laugh that instantly warmed Merit up. “It was mostly to report but I got a little tied up. But it’s all done! I am just a little tired.”
“You could always ask me to hold you if you're so sleepy, my love.” Merit grinned
Jasmine thought for a moment, he could carry me. Their face flushed with the idea but tentatively helps out their hands up to him.
Merit had dug his own grave. Their big eyes looking into his soul. Merit picked them up without any hesitation his arms around their waist and their legs around his. “Let’s go to our room.”
“Ours?”
“The moment you became mine, my room became ours.”
Jasmines face flushed tucking their head in merits neck, “Ours.”
