It’s no secret I have a lot of Rooks and this is their official home.

A lot of this is for my organizations sake of figuring out how many rooks I have fighting for their lives in my tumblr. But also gives their status’ which is important for me. The status in here that will be seen are:
NPC- Not currently writing, back burner rook who gets blurbs now and again
Main Rook- the rooks in my active rotation of content, you’ll see these ones a lot more than the others
Main Companion Rook- Not meant for actual gameplay purposes, have no rook backgrounds. just meant as a companion au and not actual rooks. But would be romancable for rook
Evil NPC- Characters Meant for Evil Deeds and only for such. Most don’t get active gameplay. Or only get picture op game play.

I haven’t done anything for Davrin week either so I’ll show off a rook I usually don’t! Wolfe and Davrin
What is Wolfe Driving?
One of these babies, Nissan Versa. Wolfe wants convenient and not so much a gas spender. Davrin might need to adjust the passengers seat for some leg room XD (totally not bias since I own one of these)
Modern Sunny Day for Wolfe & Davrin
Wolfe is a bit more active. He’d want to do a full blown picnic, 🧺 and probably taunt Davrin into chasing him though some flower fields. Truly Wolfe was made for the sun. He loves it. Modern Wolfe is a Photographer so he’s taking lots and lots of pictures, he won’t even let Davrin sit on their picnic blanket till he takes a picture of the set up. I’m sure he’d also be secretly snapping pictures of Davrin through out the entire thing.
They would probably end up staying through the night. Wolfe is such a romantic he doesn’t want to waste a moment with Davrin. Probably say some cheesy like “the view is nice.” While pointing the camera at Davrin.

Wolfe Laidir x Davrin
Onwards
It’s Okay If It’s You
Wolfe is usually a really goofy character. Sunshine and rainbows and even with serious topics he doesn’t take it well. It’s like his own personal shield he uses to soften the blow of things. But with Davrin, he just can do these things. He’s able to open up because it is Davrin because he’s so comfortable those serious talks come naturally with Davrin, he can genuinely put his guard down
2. Friends To Lovers
Wolfe Takes his time to really come to terms with his feelings. At first it was fun just friends flirting but when Davrin asks about their relationship possibly being more. Wolfe panics because he is feeling more than he thinks he should but he still says yeah maybe later down the road. He wants to build that connection but he’s terrified. Wolfe eventually comes to turns with his feelings and returns Davrins affections
3. Workplace romance 🤣
Davrin indeed fell for his boss. And Wolfe with his teammate. I just think it fits and even trying to stay lowkey about it EVERYONE KNOWS. Wolfe thought he was being sneaky giving Davrin soft touches on the battle field, everyone saw it. Davrin saw they saw and still laughed and kept to himself so Wolfe doesn’t feel exposed.
4. Fell First, Fell harder
Davrin definitely fell first but Wolfe fell much harder. And was terrified when he lost Davrin in the fade prision. He just wanted his man. One goal in mind and it was GET ME OUT SO I CAN SEE MY MAN. and raise their half bird half cat kid.
5. Soulmate
Don’t care what anyone says, the romance in VG are all soulmate worthy. Davrin is entirely Wolfe’s soulmate. Now that he found them, he’s never leaving them. Wolfe crossed his fingers and pretty much said for life. They aren’t going NO WHERE. Red string and all Wolfe and Davrin are my canon soulmates lol

Wolfe loved being in arlathan and even helping with the veiljumpers from time to time. While he wouldn’t trade the lords for anything, the jumpers were a close second. Though at the moment, he could skip on one thing. The nugs chasing him.
“What is up with these things!” Wolfe ran through the veiljumper camp, nugs in tow. He looked back at the nugs then turned back eyes widening as he ran face first into a jumper, “Oh ouch ouch! Sorry!”
Truffles fell out of Wolfe's pocket, the nugs immediately scooping them up and waddling off.
Kamaria let out a laugh as she fell back, Wolfe sitting up quickly looking back at the nugs, “I was going to make tea with those.” He pouted, then turn back to Kamaria holding out his hand, “Sorry about that, are you alright?”
She smiled, offering her hand, “I'm fine, are you okay? Nugs pretty much ran you over but that’s what you get for taking their truffles.”
Wolfe gave her a little pout but chuckled, helping her up “Didn’t know nugs liked them so much. I'm Wolfe by the way.”
“Kamaria. You don’t look like a jumper. But if I had to guess, maybe lord?”
“Nail on the head. What gave it away?” He chuckled.
“Gold bands and earrings for sure.” She let out a laugh
“Oh good, I thought it was me pocketing the truffles like a thief.”
She gasped, “Don’t say that. I don’t buy into the Lords are thieves.”
“I’m glad cause we aren’t. At least most of us. And truffles are free.”
“Tell that to the nugs.”
They both let out a laugh, walking with one another to find a safer way to find truffles without the nugs chasing him down.
Rook Wednesday: Pride 🏳️🌈
Last Year I did this for Lucas and Grey so this year I’ll open up a new spot light! Baishan & Wolfe
When did your Rook decide they knew who they were? Was it a journey or was it simple?
Baishan: Baishan is a pansexual man, I think right off the bat Baishan only ever wanted someone he can personally match with personally. Gender never really mattered to him. He’s very open to all types of people as long as he can vibe with them. It became simple the more he worked as well. He met all different types of people on jobs and within the crows, gender just doesn’t really matter to him is what he realized if he likes someone is soley for personality.
Wolfe: Wolfe is very gay. I think it took longer for him to realize it. He never really thought about it though. He just never really had an interest in woman and seemed to gravitate towards men. Romantically so. Wolfe never really voiced it till his teen years when questioned about it and he ultimately realized yeah, he just prefers men in that sense. It wasn’t so much as simple but I think just lacked talking about it or acknowledging it. Because it just wasn’t a big deal to him.
Did they have social obligations tied to their identity? How did they navigate it?
For neither one of them does it really tie to them. Maybe Baishan, he had to learn to please all manner of people, platonic or romantic but I’d say that contributed to Baishan’s push for personality being important to him.
Did they have a particularly good relationship (platonic or romantic) that supported them?
Baishan: Probably Nerea @zennihilation
Nerea was always supportive despite really not wanting to watch Baishan’s love life but she was definitely always there to give Baishan support. Especially with both their love for books they had plenty of talks about love and possible interest. At least from Baishan he’s always rushing to gossip the information to Nerea.
Wolfe:
It definitely takes Wolfe longer because he didn’t have a good relationship off the bat with anyone. He was very much already an outcast as is so someone who supported him didn’t really come till he was an adult. Isabella was all for the gossip on Wolfe seeing who he was interested in but Wolfe never kiss and told.
Varric, however, was always special to Wolfe. He did express himself and asked if it was a problem with Varric if he was more attracted to men. Then he got a long talk about a man in the inquisition with similar taste. That alone made Wolfe very comfortable and depend more on Varric.
