Old art from when I first read chapters 1-2 of Merited Partiality (I was basically training myself to design distinct faces at that time- this seemed like a good exercise since all the characters were white men in uniforms with ponytails so I couldn’t rely on hairstyle or clothing too much). I may have gotten some ranks/titles wrong— also I did Reed dirty I don’t think he’s a bully he’s just really really awkward ;—;

Richard Kidder Meade: man with high cheekbones, smooth black hair and a dimple on his chin. Notes: age 31, official aide, ~175 cm, certified jester ™️.
Tench Tilghman: man with a round face, round brown eyes and sandy blond curly hair. Notes: age 32, volunteer aide, ~170 cm, certified jester ™️ squared.

Their ages and appearances here are based on the date in chapter one (so Gilbert hasn’t turned 20, Laurens doesn’t have his green riband, Tilghman’s cheek isn’t scarred yet, etc…).
