could I get some insight on Merith Black? I saw you mentioned he was one of the many escaped experiments, and I curious as to how he met Vanduo
When Merith was really young, he was stolen from his parents by Connie(warden scientist). She basically turned him into the prototype for super soldiers. He's really hard to kill and can emit toxic gas from the slits under his eyes and his mouth. He can also turn inside out in a way and look like a completely different person. Like he just has an extra skin under his normal skin. Anyway, Garrozaun and Rorzaun stole him back from Connie and returned him to his parents.
Merith has no memories of his time in the lab, he just grows up knowing he's very different from other creatures and this causes anger to start building up. He feels like his parents don't care enough since one of them is always off chasing music gigs annd is never home. The the other one just doesn't know how to deal with him. So he runs away frequently. He steals his mother's money and rents hotel rooms in other towns. He runs into Van and Aero in one of these during breakfast and he quickly notices that they're definitely not normal. He feels a kind of kinship with Van he's never felt before and can't explain so he walks right up and strikes up conversation. Van's super awkward but they still manage to hit it off and become really close friends over time.
