Merlea often depends on others for various things as she underestimates her own smarts. Even as a Seer of Time, she isn’t too fond of the future. It’s too unpredictable, and there really is no certainty. She doesn’t like this kind of freedom and would rather know what there is to come. She wants to believe in fate.

Belrin, however, hates time as a whole. Every second that goes by bothers her. She hates the future and hates the past. Living in the now is her only option. She wants total freedom to do whatever the fuck she wants, and be in control of her own life. But ending up as a Witch of Time drove her crazy, as she ruined most of the session and all it’s timelines by having to face issues from the past.

No one actually knows what exactly caused Merlea and Ursino’s moirallegiance to suddenly fall apart. Merlea has told a few people about the general issues their relationship had, but both of them refuse to tell anybody what sort of argument ended them for good. Merlea got increasingly bitter over time and Ursino says he doesn’t care anymore. Lironi suspects that Merlea’s matespritship with Khrona may have had something to do with it, as Ursino holds a huge grudge against him.

Merlea’s grudge for Ursino now goes way past the point of a kismesissitude. Her current moirail, Kranek, has to regularly keep her from straight up murdering him to prevent a shift in their own caliginous quadrants.

Merlea regularly practices with her crossbow. She tapes pictures of her ex-moirail Ursino onto her archery targets to motivate her. One day she will actually kill him. Whether it be by crossbow, a different weapon, or simply her bare hands.
