I can TRY. I’ve never explained photoshop stuff before, and I tend to have like 3-4 duplicates and lots of merging and all that, but I still have my PSDs opened and this edit is actually rather simple, in the end. so. Okay: to do this:

First, I chose a cap and did a nice B+W edit on it. I left it a bit darker than usual for some reason, but that’s okay. You can lighten it later on. So it gave me this.

Then I duplicated the image and merged the layers.I lightened it up a bit, painted the background grey and darkened the whites a bit with a curve layer

Then I used two colourful textures set to ‘Hard Light’, lowered the opacity, and made some layer masks to erase where needed. I also used a b+w gradient to smoothen out the edges of the biggest texture. Then I used a vibrance layer and a Level layer to lighten it up.

Once again I duplicated the image and merged the layers. I used the elliptical marquee tool to select the area I wanted (hold down shift to keep it a perfect circle).

I created a new 500x620 canvas and filled it with a light grey then pasted my selection onto it, resized it, and made sure it was centred. 

I also duplicated the layer and put it on ‘soft light’ to make the shadows pop more and erased the parts I didn’t want.

Then I created a layer and made a bigger circle selection and filled it with white for the outline. And I used the Ellipse Tool to create the second, thinner circle.

I then made some minimal colour adjustments.

Then I worked in the fonts. The two bigger ones are set on ‘soft light’ with lowered opacity and I had to create a layer mask and erase the one that went off the circle. And voilà!

I hope that wasn’t too confusing!
