The rain set in and soaked Morgana, drenching her hood and the wisps of hair that broke free. The cold droplets of water hit her face, as she tried to blink them away, with no intent care for the weather at this moment. She needed something, something she could not get on her own, try as she might. The sickening yearn that meant she would have to trek into Camelot, into a place she was forbidden and seek help from this man made her flesh crawl, but she knew it was the only way to get what she so very desired.
Merlin was a foolish boy, he was honest and caring and truly very kind. Deep down, even Morgana could not deny his good heart and she could only hope he would not sell her out to the rest of Camelot, if anyone knew she was here, she'd be done for. Not that she feared them of course, or Merlin; it was just nicer to come and go without any hassle. She needed a sparkling white diadem that lay in the vaults of Camelot, and there was no way she could enter that far into the castle without being found, this diadem could save Morgause, this was Merlin's chance to redeem himself in her eyes, if he would not help she would kill him or at least try to.
Creeping up the staircase of the old Physicians office, Morgana opened the unlocked door to find a sleeping Gaius, as always. She crossed the room, to find her cloak catch a candle holder, and just as the pole was about to meet the ground her eyes flashed amber and the holder remained standing, as to not wake the old man.
She opened the door to Merlin's room, finding him curled up in a little ball, fast asleep. She wavered over him, like a python ready to strike, before she pushed a hand over his mouth so he wouldn't scream loudly when he awoke. "Hello Merlin." She grinned, waiting for him to begin hurling her off; with good reason, it did look as though she were trying to kill him.
