I did the exact same thing :/ Sometimes it takes doing the wrong degree to know what exactly the right degree is. The way I look it at, no knowledge is wasted and I wouldn't have made the friends I did if I hadn't done the wrong degree. You'll get where you need to be one day, taking a little bit more time to get there is more than okay, but I do understand how annoying it is, I've been there

They do it every time. They know for a fact that drumming up speculation about johnlock before a new series airs = publicity. The only thing that’s realistically going to happen is more forced heteronormativity and more hilarious “jokes” about how ridiculous it would be for them to be actually be GAY *gasp* (never mind the fact that bisexuality and pansexuality exists and it would be entirely plausible for John to identify as such, but then again that would require them to provide actual representation instead of making it all a massive joke). I just don’t see much point in getting my hopes up.
