Did you know that with just the tiniest bit of modification, (opening up the joint in the MH torso) you can make mermaze hybrids with g3?
g3 lacks a lot of human skin tones so most of the mermaids will be stuck with a fantasy color, but I think it works for them really well!
Krystabella is on a Twyla torso, Kishiko on Draculaura, and Jordy is on a Clawdeen. I think proportionally these are the best matches for mermaze so far, I definitely recomend if youre looking for body options!

A while back I thrifted this Mermaze Kishiko doll out of curiosity. I never wanted to buy any of them new from the store. And out of the lineup this might be my least favorite, but she was the only one there.
According to a few people on r/dolls, the hair fiber is yaki. I wonder why this was the doll they chose to use that fiber for. Undoing her braids took forever, and I had to wash the hair a little to do so because they had a tiny bit of product at the ends to prevent them from coming undone. Her hairstyle was fairly intact but very ugly imo.
I wonder if yaki can hold a wave...? I want to try styling it to cover up one of her eyes, to hide the wall-eyed stare. And I want to rip her tail off and throw it away. The paint is chipped, and I don't like the clothing-like design. It freaks me out in the same way Pinkie Cooper's hair-ears do. I want to try making a new tail out of fabric and maybe an armature to make it posable... But that's pretty ambitious for my skill level... But nothing ventured, nothing gained.
