Watching a documentary on mountain climbing, Meru, and this guy eats it skiing down a mountain, nearly dying in the process. He's severed the vertebral artery and lost blood supply to the brain, endangering him.

And one of the guys he climbs with says "well, you have to get back on the horse".

And I'm just laughing, because alpine climbing is absolutely not one of those things where you have to get back to it. You can, in fact, choose never to go climbing enormous mountains again. It's not a vital part of human existence in any way!
