8. disappointing G1

i rarely ever hatch gen 1 eggs and honestly ive had fairly decent luck for the most part with the few i have hatched, but uh....

the first banescale egg i hatched. left something to be desired for my tastes haha.

with some help from tumblr, this was the best i could do. but bright blue is not my thing at all, and i like the color honeydew but i don’t think it pairs well with blue at all so....i couldn’t live like this.

so i gave myself a christmas gift...my first ever scatter c:

Dragonhome - What’s the meaning behind your username? desmodium I stole from the flower desmodium elegans. A few years ago I searched for a username with a nice ring to it and ended up googling plant names and found that one. I really liked it and still do, so here I am, desmodium :D

zephyrnoodles is a callback to my starting days in the wind flight before I switched to lightning lol. Zephyr for the windy part, noodles for spirals ;)

Tidelord - Does the element of your dragons’ eyes matter to you in lore? Hmm... Good question. Sometimes it does, sometimes not. My lore is rudimentary at best lol, 99% of it is in my head and I tend to do individual lore for dergs, not an overarching construct. So depending on what I come up with for a derg their eyes/element can matter or not.
