Arizona - Mescal Fire: 2 maps made on 06/04 and 06/05 showing the remote sensing heat signatures and fire perimeters on the first one, and the 2nd one showing the evac area, closures, and latest fire perimeter. 

Both use a new template I made just for this fire, and include an overview map that I feel really stands out while showing exactly where the fire is. Both also use very different basemaps that help to highlight what needs to be shown, and they both include buildings as this is such a rural area, it helps to visualize what areas are in danger. 

I’ve also included info from news sources, official evac facebook page, and the ICS-209, including weather and outlooks. 

Let’s hope they get a good handle on this one soon.
