Ok I’ll shut up about MANIA but I wanna talk about how cohesive of an album it is. You can tell the track list and what order each song was placed was very well thought through with how each song blends into one another, which is my favorite thing about albums in general. The you can tell they worked really hard on each song and the sound they were going for. I feel like so many people dislike MANIA because of how drastically different it is from prior albums but I think that’s what I appreciate the most about it. They took a different direction with their music but it still feels like fall out boy. It all still has that fun energy that they have in the rest of their discography.

I wish people would give MANIA more love and more of a chance because when you give it a good listen, you notice something new every single time, also the lyrics are all beautiful and fun. I know people miss the “old fob” sound but it’s so cool watching this band I literally grew up with from infancy evolve and do the music THEY want to do. I cherish that, I really really cherish that. People change and grow and morph into new people as they age, there’s no reason their music shouldn’t change alongside them. Also Id like to make it a point to mention that Patrick REALLY shows off his vocal range in this album, and it’s done so beautifully.

Uhhhhh anyways listen to MANIA because I feel just as passionate about it as I do Folie……… just saying…..
