Hi hi everyone
I decided that my university is not as important as my Jeeves and Wooster obsession so instead of what I have to do I am making Bertie's white mess jacket (Please do not look at me like that Jeeves)
I think it may be fun if I update you sometimes how it's going. Maybe it will help me to stay consistent with this project.
I am trying to make it look somewhat like this
But instead of using plain white cotton I will try using white material I already own which has a little bit of a fracture but I think it will suit
Today I have drafted front and back and I want to draft a sleeve in the following week. It looks like this at the moment.
I am using a pattern from the magazine called Progressive Tailor, they have great patterns in there and you can find those magazines online. I did not find the exact pattern of the mess jacket but I have adjusted the one that pictures the dress coat (I just cut the skirt off) and now it seems to be ok
