congratulations beb, you made it to 2021, the year that things have to change - where people carry their promises of a better life, and time, with them into the loving hands of january, the loving hands of the new beginning. that's exactly what this is, okay? the beginning of a new end. the fresh start you so desperately needed before, mhm?

stay because this year is going to give you the chance to work on yourself, to love and be better. to be happier and healthier, just like you wanted.

stay because this year will carry the devastating effects of the previous year - a reminder of the bitch 2020 was and her massive destruction and the detrimental effect shes had, mentally and physically. personally and publicly. youre not a bad person to want it all to be over, for you to wish that it all never happened. to desperately want to hate someone, or something, to shift the blame towards.

stay because we're all going to get through this together, we're all going to live to see another day and feel all the things that are just so innately human, I promise. stay, because things are going to clear up sooner or later, they're bound to. they always have. they always will.

stay because younger you fought so hard to get to where they are right now, to become the you that you already are - and yknow, maybe, just maybe, they'd be proud if they saw that you made it through those times you genuinely thought you couldn't struggle out of, but stayed anyway. they'll thank you. they'll thank you for having it within you to stay and continue being the little warmth we have in this cold, harsh world.

because you're going to thank yourself later for it.
youre going to one day be happy, and feel the warmth you've been desperately trying to feel.
