I’ve been rebuilding a small early/old internet-inspired message board and community space called Rewind Capsule.

It includes customizable profiles, threads, replies, reactions, direct messages, a shoutbox, an instant messenger-style chat inspired by AIM, Yahoo Messenger, MSN, and ICQ, virtual pets, and a text generator for signatures.

The goal is to recreate the feeling of older online communities and websites—when the internet felt like home.

there is no other message board/forum on the internet rn that lets you add blinkies, custom cursors, and fully customize your entire profile like it’s 2006 again.
