Today’s work thoughts:
Jaskier, shortly post-mountain, ends up falling through a portal/sphere weakness/handwavey mumbling into Night Vale
Cecil and Carlos are doing a joint segment on something or other when Jaskier becomes breaking news. Carlos is only mildly interested until they see some kind of social media from Janice and then he becomes that one post about how Jaskier is wearing the equivalent of open shirt+lacy bra and he is practically foaming at the mouth to know how his pants are staying up if not via the doublet (I’d go with the ‘giving his tailor witcher techniques’ explanation)
“I have to talk to him.”
“But [NV resident - maybe Michelle Nguyen?] said he’s speaking Medieval Polish” (oh god that covers about a thousand years that’s so broad but also it Sounds Very Night Vale to leave it at that. Altho if Michelle, she could hang a lampshade on how she’s oversimplifying it for mainstream folks)
“Cecil, I had to have *some* fun learning to be a Scientist. That class was my favorite elective. Be back soon. [cheek smooch sound]”
“Well…I guess, listeners, we’ll be back after The Weather.”

And then after Jaskier has pretty well established himself in Night Vale, probably conversational in English so he can hop on the radio with Cecil sometimes….then Ciri and Geralt and Yenn go crashing through Main Street getting chased by something or other
