Stfu actually. Pedophilic as an insult is stupid when used in ad hominem but we cannot as a culture destigmatize that label. The label has weight for a fucking reason, and popularizing the view that calling someone a pedophile is ableist will water down the term and cause harm. You cannot water that down. Did we not learn from MAPs?
Fucking. I hope the medical field changes the fucking disorder term. Most times people are talking about pedophiles they aren't talking about the disorder anyway, but it would cause less harm to just change the fucking disorder name.
