3 months in #edrecovery treatment! Yesterday was my last day in program. I am not the same person I was when I went in there. It’s been 2.5+ years I’ve been in #edrecovery . It took me over a year from originally being referred to to #edtreatment to finally initially call to set up treatment. Having an #eatingdisorter is life consuming. Very much physically and mentally. I didn’t know what being #metabolicallystable felt like till working the program. I don’t have the same image of myself anymore. #recoveryispossible !!! It very very much so is! ❤️ These are letters I was given by other clients and staff on my completion day. I read them before typing this blog. I don’t usually get emotionally moved that easy, or I didn’t in the past. I felt the energy in all the words written to me. I am so thankful for the support I’ve had through my #recoveryjourney ! Even ate my worse moments and breakdowns, my heart wasn’t abandoned or let down. My spouse, one of my biggest supports, has grown with me through my own recovery. I’m grateful for all the people who have loved me and held my hand through these last few months. ❤️ #edrecoverywarrior #edawareness #edrecoveryquotes #eatingdisorderhope #eatingdisorderawareness #atypicalanorexianervosa #atypicalanorexiarecovery #atypicalanorexiaawareness #bingeeatingrecovery #disorderedeating #mentalhealthawareness #nonviolentcommunication #bestself #foodishappiness #recoverywin #eatingdisordersupport (at Willow Glen, San Jose, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch_cPYJOHeO/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
