Inktober 2022 - 13 The WaterFall

The center of the Fjordland metacluster called Mistfjord is a big waterfall. The river runs through a sort of gorge and becomes a fjord at the end. I may draw the fjordside as well. Under, or behind the waterfall, there is the entrance to a large cave system in which all kinds of ecals grow.

Inktober 2022 - 4: Hamperokken

That’s the “real” name of the mountain actually - see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamperokken 

It’s the tallest peak in the surroundings of Tromsø with nearly 1400 m above sea level. I climbed it once and i can say- it has been the most challenging mountian hike I’ve made so far. One can barely call it a hike. It’s more a climb.

It’s also close to what I think is a major Siderian metacluster in the Fjordlands; the cluster named the Carnassial. It becomes the nearest metacluster in Stian’s new homeland in the Northern Fjordlands. The mountain Hamperokken is probably called differently by Siderians. I’ve yet to find out what it’s name is.

Inktober 2022-5: Zilval Summits

This is how I see the Siderian metacluster Zilval Summits, somewhere in the Alps, not far from the Mont Blanc (Siderians may call this mountain range “the Roaring Mountains” because of the avalanches). This cluster doesn’t have a vast cave system like many others (at least for what I know so far). This is also where the main character (Yves) of my graphic novel Theory of Mind was born. The guy in the foreground looks like Noiro, who was also born there.

Inktober 2022 - 2: Cave entrance

A typical Siderian metacluster cave entrance with ecals growing all over the place. Some ecals give off light, which helps plants to grow even inside the cave. I’m not sure which metacluster this is. Maybe I find out.

I used a reference, but changed the lighting as I added the ecal light source in the middleground. Done with ecoline brushpens, black fine liners and some white gel pens on 1/4th of a water colour paper (A6/postcard size).

Also - I’m already falling behind with posting. I forgot to post this on Tuesday. Then yesterday I found out that the scan was crap and it was too dark to make a photo. So I’m already two days behind now. But so far I have made a drawing every day.

The first snows in Mistfjord by BlackMysticA

Concept art/speedpainting of the metacluster Mistfjord I might think of a more original name where Stian (my big white siderian; a horse-sized big cat) comes from. It's somewhere close the the Norwegian city Trondheim (loosely based on this spot www.google.no/maps/place/7550+…) . Human cities in the siderian world equivalent are slightly different and especially in Norway, they are not very developed as it comes to technology. Anyway, more about the metacluster - here is a concept of a the map of Mistfjord reignofsiderians.tumblr.com/po… .Metaclusters are natural 'nodes' in the metaphysical crystal nerve-like fibres that run through Earth's crust. Siderians (and some other species) have evolved and developed methods to use this nerve-system like crystal structure for communication and triggering energy conversions with the energy that runs through these crystals. At some places there is a very high density and diversity of these fibres, where they cluster. There they might even enhance plant growth, which in turn results in higher prey densities for siderians. So some siderians began to settle around these clusters and develop them in terms of living areas and crystal infrastructure. Metaclusters are now areas with high densities of siderians, where they are mostly non-territorial (in contrast to areas outside metaclusters) and where they live in a sort of society with a loose labour division based on trade and services. Since the access to crystals is best in metaclusters, it's also the best place to communicate with other siderians over longer distance. They can use these crystal nerves as a sort of internet-network that I call 'intellithos'- and send complicated messages -in the form of thoughts like feelings and mental images. Stian has been born in an area just outside of Mistfjord which is his family territory named Land Sætansen, which is defended by his grandparents, parents and ucle+aunt. Since most supplies, services ect are in Mistfjord, Stian's parents and brother moved quite frequently to Mistfjord for longer times, where Stian had the chance to learn more about crystals and get taught by other - professional- siderians- along with other kittens of approx. his age (like. his cousin Yava and his neighbour Bjørn) - as a kind of school. Since Stian's parents were most of the time busy defending their own land against for example their neighbours (who actually coordinate -sort of lead- this cluster), they often just dropped Stian and his 9 years older brother Goran off in Mistfjord where they had to live on their own. So Stian has spend a lot of his childhood in and around Mistfjord. Vaguely in the foreground you can see the silhouettes of Goran, Yava and Stian with a big fish in their mouths. So they obviously have been fishing in the sea somewhere...

Another siderian metacluster. I may get more active on tumbr again :) Have quite some sketches that I never post on DA but that I might post on tumblr. But let's post some other old works from DA here.

Btw - I'm going to participate in inktober too - but I have no scanner, so it will come bunch-wise XD
