rose will never know the irony of her argument with ten and of what she said to him regarding tentoo: "he's not you". girly, he is though.

yes he's part donna, true, but when you look at ten post series 2, guy went dark because rose got taken from him.

losing rose was like a reality check for the doctor and it made him grow up quite a lot.

donna kind of made him go back to his more carefree side, but they had such little time together, and by the time rose was back, ten was still darker than she'd known him.

so now, what is tentoo? he's a mix between ten and donna (between the doctor and the person who made him smile when he thought he wanted to die). the doctor also described him as being like nine ("that's me when we met").

both her versions of the doctor combined in one body. cause tentoo is closer to the doctor she knew than series 4 ten could ever hope to be

People who come to my comments trying to tell me that Tentoo isn't Ten, but he is?! Tentoo is the continuation of Nine and Ten (and all the Doctors who came before him). He's a full-fledged regeneration of the Doctor (like Eleven, Twelve, etc., etc., etc.)! But a human regeneration. Literally, he is the Doctor. The characters in the show called him the Doctor, and RTD himself called him the Doctor! HE IS THE DOCTOR! He's not a different person. If you think that, you are the one who don't understand the show.

"Turning of the Tide" isn't canon, simply because the DW Extended Universe comics aren't canon, but the Big Finish audios are canon. And "Turning of the Tide" doesn't correspond to the Big Finish audios or even to what RTD see and written in the show. You're the one who doesn't understand the Ninerose and Tenrose relationship to come and tell me that seeing the Metacrisis Doctor as the Doctor instead of a different man diminishes the impact of the Tenrose relationship and its ending. Why are you even here? Under my post?! A post that simply talked about what I imagined Tentoo & Rose's first night to be like?! Furthermore, to dare to tell me that I am stupid, that I lack media literacy, that I am an idiot, and then have the nerve to try to make people believe that I was the one who insulted her first? The nerve. Also, even though Tentoo isn't really Ten since he is another regeneration, we called like that because he regenerated from Ten's hand... It's not hard to understand. Originally, there was even a planned scenario with Tentoo feeling the regeneration of Ten, or at least one scenario that would have made us seeing Tentoo again but with Rose and their child right at the moment of Ten's regeneration, highlighting the connection of these two Doctors in separate dimensions, and which would have served to complete the arc on the Doctor's parenthood which had been re-established in Ten several times. I'm tired. It's been a long time since crazy people have attacked me like this.

In The End of Time, Wilf and the Doctor agreed that they'd be proud to be father and son, respectively. Rose is the Doctor's niece not through the metacrisis but because her great-grandfather is the Doctor's (chosen) father.

As I watch Donna's "death" I utterly refuse to believe that to fix the metacrisis all you need is to Be A Woman uwu and Let It Go. Fuck that girl power bs fr.

In my head, the metacrisis was weakened by being split between two people, and their human ingenuity & soul knew to let it go. The Doctor couldn't understand NOT because they're A Male Presenting Time Lord uwu but because they are A Time Lord period— "lacking that little bit of human" needed to understand, as Donna said in Journey's End.

Even as an enby it's just annoying to have this hell of a companion departure fixed by Girl Power™
