⇘ - Has your muse ever used a combat vehicle or siege weapon in battle? Were they enthusiastic about it?
Cen just sighed. “Yes, yes I have. It’s not my favorite but obviously it has its benefits. I don’t really fancy myself as more than a novice when it comes to such machines.”
[ Thanks @illapa-greybane ]
hey dude! OP of the lucky cat brigitte post is a men first/anti-feminist/female inferiority blog, just to let you know if you wanna get that nastiness off your blog
ahhh, that’s both gross and unfortunate. thank you for pointing it out to me.
Black - What is the darkest thing you’ve ever done?
At the final question, Solarine sank deeper into thought. She sat there, her chin propped on a loose fist, gaze shifting as she sifted through the long, keen memory of an Elf.
“There have been a few instances of questionable morality over the course of my lifetime,” she began. “Excluding things done while not of sound--or my own--mind, those that linger most in my mind are the following.
“Several years ago, when we sacked Orgrimmar, I killed an allied soldier. A civilian Troll woman had sustained a near-fatal brain injury in battle, and there was no way to heal that kind of damage. Even I can’t heal some things. She was crying for help, or for someone to put her out of her misery, with whatever conscious thought she had left, and I...” Her expression fell. “I could not help her, so I stomped on what was left of her skull, then sanctified her body so the Orcish Warlocks fighting for Hellscream would be unable to use her soul as fuel. Her spirit later thanked me, but the action I took there was a choice. I could have tried harder to save her, but at the expense of all the other fallen requiring immediate attention. Had I tried to help her, would we have come closer to discovering how to repair brain tissue? I killed a helpless innocent...and I should feel guiltier over it than I do, shouldn’t I?”Solarine smiled grimly. “It is a choice I find myself mulling over even now, from time to time.”
“The other, the most potentially dangerous and morally-questionable thing I have ever done was the decision to free the monster from Illapa’s mind and body, which saved the latter and gave the former freedom from the Faceless hive-mind as well as its own body. The alternatives were unthinkable, all ending in someone’s death or complete, dangerous descent into insanity, and so I made the decision I believed was right. I set loose upon Azeroth a previously-immortal monster that has now felt the taste of mortal life, and I know not how that may affect it, because it was the second-least-terrible of a whole offering of terrible choices. I do not regret the decision, because it spared the life of a man who is my lover, and more than that, a deep and vast wellspring of knowledge and experience to benefit our people and the recovery of our former glory and power.”
Do you PVP? What type do you enjoy? Battlegrounds, World, Arena, Duels?
I don’t PVP a lot but I do enjoy it from time to time. Kari and I got to like 1500 in 2′s,which is not super high or hard, but I felt good about it.
I think I generally prefer battlegrounds though world can be fun sometimes. Arena is fun once you figure out what you’re doing. It’s kind of like raiding, it takes some time to get used to the flow of it.
I might pick it up more in Season 2 though mostly because I want pretty mounts. That will generally get me to do silly things.

Lavender - What is a smell you really like?
“I am very fond of the scent of baking pies, especially fruit pies,” Solarine told the reader. “Really, though, who isn’t? A more unique, or at least personal, scent preference is that of a misty, damp spring or summer morning after a nighttime rainfall. The way the forest smells when the flowers and trees and grass are all wet, and the ferns unfurl, and the mana begins evaporating into the air from the mist and raindrops on the ley lines...” The Priestess closed her eyes, nearly shivering with delight at the memory. A far cry from the lingering scent of sulfur and brimstone that permeated the air of Argus.
Daffodil - Do you like trying new things? What is something new you’d like to try?
Solarine considered the question for a moment, gaze turning upward as she examined her approach to trying new things.
“I suppose I did far moreso in my youth than now,” she replied, still looking thoughtful. “I could almost be considered reckless at a few points, regarding my curiosity about new things--particularly those of interest to my philosophical and magical studies. Now, the ‘new’ things I prefer aren’t quite so potentially dangerous, such as trying new foods or a new position in bed.”
She laughed before continuing on to answer the second question. “Something new I’d like to try? I might like to try using aethril pollen as a spice in a new dish. It’s rather different than our standard mana thistles in Quel’thalas, but just as highly magical. The addition of more sources of raw mana for our kin to consume while on long voyages is of some importance, for those who are the most dependent on the Sunwell’s influence.”
Aurelis: Charcoal - on a scale of one to ten how would you rate your survival skills?
Aurelis gave the questioner a look that spoke of “really?” She then gestured at herself, covered in scale mail and leathers that would blend perfectly into the bushes and foliage of a deep forest. She then pointed at the obviously magical and powerful bow hanging across her back.
“I was on track to being a Ranger Captain before I left. You don’t get that far without being the best of the best. I don’t even have a house in or near a city anymore, because I don’t need one out here.” She then added, “Eleven. Out of ten.”
