     It was warming to hear Korra say that, especially after everything they had gone through together. One step into their dance, and he slowly twirled her around before him, only to draw her back into his arms, keeping in tempo with the music playing before them.

          At first, they were only mere strangers; having come across one another by pure circumstance. By now, he wondered if it really was just that. If it actually meant to be something more.

          But now… he felt so honored and light as the beautiful woman before him said those words. Maybe it was just him looking into those words too much. But nonetheless, he found himself smiling widely down at her, only to press his lips to hers.

     Soft, gentle, slow. But every vow he could tell her right then and there was sent through to her with this one contact. Parting even if only barely, their lips still touching but not quite kissing, he murmured to her with a loving smile:

"I could never dance with another, either."
