One of the stronger accents in the #Y2020K “Rust” collection is this hand polished blackened chain #recycledmetal #metal #metalforever @thexzouix that once toubled the dog we had many years ago. I completely restored it back into a perfect shape. I never understood why would anyone go ahead and chain a dog in a garden. I’d always unchain him. In this collection I am gazing into minds of people through their actions (only by observation) and rethinking my personal standpoint towards #cruelty and its forms. I have an utterly strange feeling this one can’t be described by words. You’ll have to experience it. It’s worth mentioning that metal is a very hard and rewarding material to #work with. And it will look amazing with the black silk, cotton, dusty gray chiffon, rust dyed natural cotton knit and of course black recycled leather which I consider to be even cruel than a chained dog. I mean, someone buys and throws away leather as if it was a stone or something. Would you really skin an animal just to have a miniskirt or a sexy pair of pants? I am salvaging this material because once it is bought and abandoned, it deserves another purpose by recycling when the material is in a perfect condition. Monday, July 22: New Eden, “Anthem of Hate”

Solving for X showcased New Eden’s fourth almost entirely new lineup in as many albums, but Horatio Colmenares’ guitar and overall vision for the band remained consistent, and “Anthem of Hate” was a fully actualized opening track. Similar to Helstar (James Rivera even briefly sang for New Eden), this was high-grade American power metal, more aggressive and technical than the German strain but unrepentantly traditional in design.  Rod Arias wasn’t quite a belter on par with Rivera or Harry Conklin, but his vocals fit the tension and drama in the music, and New Eden fit comfortably within that second tier below Jag Panzer, Helstar and Nevermore.  The band seemingly disbanded after Solving for X, but “Anthem for Hate” was a worthy contribution to the American power metal canon.
