Want to know what’s inside a Metalhead Cassette Box? I just got my first one today (July 2021), so here’s the rundown: 

- Pin: Obituary - Slowly We Rot 

- Autograph Card: Trey Azagthoth, Morbid Angel 

- Shirt: Evoken 

- Tape 1: Givre - Le Pressoir Mystique (Canadian Black Metal) 

- Tape 2: Råtten - Roi de Rats (French Black Metal) 

- Zine: Cult Never Dies Compendium 3 

I’d never heard of either of the bands on these tapes. Råtten is pretty great, and I can see myself adding it to my active roster. Givre was interesting enough to make me want to give it some more listening time. I like these flavors of black metal. I LOVE this Obituary pin. I’ve never heard of Evoken, so I’ll have to do my homework on that. . If you’re looking to rack up some black metal tapes and score some interesting one-off merch, these Metalhead boxes are a good way to do it.
