At the door stood Kaspa, sultry and smirking, sporting a sharp cobalt blue suit and satin white tie. The warmonger blatantly undressed Korra with her eyes, licking her lips when she noted the posh office. "Well now, a Don of all things! Moving up in the world, are we?"
The Avatar crosses her strong arms over her chest, a smirk inching onto her face and causing the scar on her cheek to stretch. She tilts her head at Kaspa in a smug manner. "You bet yer sweet ass I am."
"A visitor. Someone you've not seen in a bit." The voice's slow purr sounded like Korra's own minus the strange accent that bit at the edges of her vowels.
Korra was a busy woman. There were plenty of people that she'd see on the daily basis but she'd never bother to remember any of them. They were mostly killed off by her anyway. Curious, she rises from her seat to open the door and glance outside.
There was a knock at the door.
The Monsoon taps the fingers of one hand on her desk while she rest her chin on the palm of her other hand. Upon hearing the knock, she lets out an irritated snort. "Who is it?" She calls, expecting a prompt answer.
//I've been all over the place, though it looks like i'll be getting a bump in business soon. i need to get my art tumblr up and running by next week, but i'm waiting on my new tablet since the tablet i've had since the age of the dinosaurs has been fixed too many times and is now beyond repair. So... twiddling my thumbs, as it were. How are you?
//I had a job interview yesterday. Fucking commute was like a goddamned hour and a half and the trains were so fucking congested that I was literally forced up against the door of the train and nearly fell out when they opened.
Felt like I was being suffocated but when I actually got the place it was nice. What pissed me off though was that when I first got on the train, it was empty but then these girls got on and decided "Oh hey, let's all crowd around this one single person on the train and not bother to sit the fuck down. Teeheehee."
On top of that my mother was rushing me to get her cigarettes and I hadn't eaten all day and I had to deliver my dad's social security paperwork to him. Ugh, t'was a giant clusterfuck.
Anyway, nothing really interesting.My life's a fucking bore.

Kane being protected by Chikko
Today, Kane had been nice enough to visit Chikko. Since Kane was from another realm altogether, it was nice listening to stories of her homeworld. Chikko was quite fond of Kane, thinking her a gentle giant.
The two were sitting inside of an alleyway. Chikko had conjured up seats using her earthbending when some thugs showed up. They looked upon Kane with interest, thinking her to have many valuables on her. before they could even bother to try and demand anything, Chikko pumps her arms up and sends the thugs flying away by causing the earth under their feet to shoot upward, launching them far away.
Kane looks at Chikko with a smile and relaxes once again.
"So anyway, Kane, tell me about the mixed races of your world." Chikko asks excitedly.
