My friend said “the typewriter is urs if u can fix it”

and after about an hour and a half of tinkering, i finally did it, and this was the first thing i made and sent to him

i totally forgot that at some point i shipped kovira, i-

my friends dont understand why i save the paragraphs where they say nice stuff abt me (ex. “i like how u laugh cus u laugh like no one’s watching, etc.”) and print it then tape it up on a little section of my room

so i’ll make it short n simple for yall who dont get it

i (personally) grew up in a family where praises are given ONLY when u achieve something like good grades; it’s never about ur inner growth. i can count two instances in all my 21 years of living that my parents have praised me in something that isn’t materialistic.

so i learned to praise myself. but ofc, on bad days, i can’t do that. i see myself as a failure.

that’s why i print and tape it up.

i can look at those little notes and remind myself that i am a good person.

TLDR: praise your friends more. write it or type it if u can. on their worst days, what u said might be what they need to hear.

u cant out bad luck me because there was one time i was trying to impress a girl i just met, so i tried to conquer my fear of stage fright and sing in front of like twenty people just to win her over

and after doing just that, she said “awww omg u and my girlfriend should sing together!”

i have a gay friend who hates feminine gay men and will only date muscular gay men.

and this wouldn’t be a problematic thing cus preferences r a thing, but he outright just told me if his son starts talking like a feminine gay man then he’s going to make him attend sports activities
