Biden, #MeToo, and why I can’t support him.

Anyone who supports Biden, by my reckoning, is fine with putting their name to yet another sexual predator in the White House

Where’s the outrage, people? All you #MeToo supporters out there are fantastically quiet about the accusation leveled against Biden. Where are all of you who were appalled at the recording of trump bragging how the rich and powerful can just walk up and grab a woman by the pussy? That’s what Biden actually DID (allegedly). If you’re fine with Biden, hand in your #MeToo card and strike the word ‘feminist’ or ‘humanist’ from your personal bios. 

If you don’t know a woman who’s a survivor, then you don’t know women. That means that none of them have trusted you enough to tell you their stories. I’ve heard many. Once upon a time, I was in a relationship with one and I heard her horror story. She felt that her freaking out when we tried to get intimate with me was unfair so she left. Then she killed herself.

Is Biden REALLY better than trump? Really? Really? Of trump, whom I loathe more than anyone else on Earth, I can say, with all honesty, this much: I KNOW where I stand with him and his band of fuckwits. ALL of his fuckery has been mostly done out in the open. While everyone’s freaking out over it, they’re all huddling behind Biden; many out of such sheer desperation to remove trump that they’ve literally allowed the Democratic party to compromise them and their morals and core beliefs. IF you’re supporting Biden, you’re not compromising, YOU’VE BEEN COMPROMISED. You ALLOWED the Democratic party to lower their own standards SO low they’re practically as filthy as the GOP only there’s one sad, horrible difference between them and just one- While the GOP is openly vile, reprehensible, and are more than willing to fuck you all to your face; fuck you and fuck yours and go fuck yourself... Democrats smile, say nice things, then stab you in the back. Democrats now only pay lip service, make half-baked and half ass attempts to try to convince you that they’re Left in some way, all while being far right of where they were years ago. There IS no Left anymore, and you’ve been dragged along with them. When is enough, enough, people?

There’s clearly only ONE person the Democrats hated more than trump- Bernie Sanders. Between mainstream media ignoring him and Dems ganging up to defeat him, clearly the party doesn’t give a flying fuck about YOU. They’re just not into you, baby; it’d interrupt the cash flow from their donors, most of them being the same rich twats buying GOPers. Look how fast Bloomberg bought Dems!

Now you’re all acting like trump supporters for the BlueMAGA. Seriously? Really? The rapist? The guy whose motto is essentially “Don’t worry, I won’t change shit; I’ll just bring us back to normal (meaning back to the era that brought us trump in the fucking FIRST place).

How many of you BOTHERED reviewing Biden’s super-shitty policies and actions over his career? (crickets) How many of you have any spine enough to see just how fucking useless he is at this stage? Trump does, though. His fanatics are breaking down the gates during a pandemic; you can bet your privileged asses that they’ll be out come November assuming they did’t keel over dead from COVID-19. That may be the only edge that Biden gets as he does and says fuck-all nothing except hope that trump screws up enough to get his base to stay home and enough of his own Biden Bros to show up. That’s his big plan, kids.

Kiss your $15/hr good-bye. You don’t seriously thing team biden will really pull that off, do you? For fuck sake, according to Liz Warren, if the min. wage  kept up with cost of living and inflation, it should be at $23/hr NOW. According to Robert Reich, it’s even higher. $15/hr was what we needed well over a decade ago. If biden does pull it off, it’s a token fist in your ass at best, you puppet.

Kiss M4A good-bye. It’s evident that you’d rather dump your cash into the overpriced, empty promises of insurance companies, big pharma, and stoke the fires of endless war with financing the Military Industrial Complex than live a safe, healthy life.

Kiss any sort of Green New Deal good-bye while Pelosi and the others sneer at it and look down their noses at you.

I certainly don’t WANT more of trump...

...but thinking biden will make things better is foolish. Trump will happily stab you through the chest, but the likes of biden prefer to smile while they stab you through the back using the blade forged out of empty promises and lip service. Fuck, if you’re keeping track of the Dem. pundits, they’re already lining up to blame biden’s apparent loss on Sanders and people like me. They’re ALREADY gearing up for him to LOSE. What does THAT tell you? His popularity is utter shit compared to HRC back in 2016.

Let’s not forget that most of Bernie’s supporters backed HRC in 2016 and voted for her. Before that, let’s not forget HER followers’ loyalty when MOST of them bailed on Obama to support McCain. 

I won’t put my name to a vote for Biden. I won’t. I’ve heard too many tales of horror from Survivors and given that Al Franken’s career was burned for much less, I don’t appreciate the HYPOCRISY of the #MeTooExceptBiden rhetoric. MY moral compass, my values, my principles will no longer be something I give the DNC permission to shit on and compromise. If the US needs another 4 of trump burning the house down to wake the fuck up and LEARN that the Dems are a band of feckless twats on the take and actually start voting for PROGRESSIVES and those who are actually LEFT, then so be it. Let the children learn by touching the hot fucking stove; I’ve warned them enough, for years and years now. It’s time to grow a pair of whatever inspires you and wake the fuck up and stop fronting rich, white guys who are all for helping the rich scam us into tax breaks and socialism for them and their corporations while fucking us all in the ass without a kiss first, a grease up, or so much as a reach-around.

During all this time you spent bashing me because I supported Tara Reade, I’d like to point something out at this time that clearly y’all missed in your ever-glorified shit-slinging fest defending your GOP insider, Joe Biden.

No ONCE did any of you motherfuckers ever ask one simple question of me and it was this:

“Do you actually BELIEVE Tara Reade?”

The point was that we needed to take the accusation seriously, for the sake of all women and all Survivors and investigate the matter because it would have been the right thing to do, not ignore and scorn her and try to cover it up. Whether of not Reade’s story is true or not is, at present, immaterial. What matters is your conduct and the conduct of the fucking assholes in the DNC and the party, and you all failed at being decent human beings.

You failed to take the accusation seriously when it was YOUR guy while not that long ago you were all screaming for justice to the victims of people like Bret Kavenaugh, trump, Cosby, and Weinstein to name but a few rich and powerful types who adhere to trump’s “philosophy” of how you can grab ‘em by the pussy and get away with it when your famous.

What’s worse is that good people like Al Franken had their careers burned for far less. You failed him, and not you’ve shown that you’re willfully ignorant, selfish cunts, just like trump supporters. JUST LIKE THEM.

You see, there’s supposed to be this process when it comes to vetting people for things. Employers tend to do a general background check before hiring employees. When I joined the Navy over half a lifetime ago, my life was thoroughly put under scrutiny because I’d volunteered to serve on submarines. They looked into every detail of my life from my family to my schooling to my jobs to interviewing my friends to get a feel for whether or not I was trustworthy enough to work on classified equipment, also checking my finances to ensure I wasn’t vulnerable to things like being tempted to be a traitor by selling secrets to foreign adversaries because I was in a tight spot. They wanted to make sure there was no dirt anyone could have on me that might compromise me in some way.

Trump got ZERO of that. I was only an enlisted fuck serving on a sub. Why is it we do not hold the Commander-in-Chief to an even higher standard when he’s going to have the “football” within reach at all times with nuclear codes?

As I’d mentioned, the investigation involved looking into character. Biden is a CREEPY CHARACTER, but clearly like trump supporters, you Biden Bros are fine with Biden being creepy and possibly even RAPEY. But the point is we’re talking about an outright RAPE here. RAPE. Biden is accused of cornering and then digitally penetrating a woman’s vagina against her consent. Does that mean ANYTHING to you? Especially you women who are betraying your own supporting this fucknugget! Where’s the concern? Where’s the desire to delve into the vetting process and enact this “DUE PROCESS” you once screamed for?

I don’t know if Reade’s story is true or not. However, where we part ways is that I, for one, took it seriously. I firmly believe, in good conscience, that Biden’s got enough going against him as it is that that Due Process will either vindicate him enough that people like me might be able to choke down the vomit long enough to force myself to vote for him OR he’ll be proven to be a rapist and should, by rights, step out of the way for someone that’s NOT a rapist.

You assholes backing him FAILED. You failed not only women everywhere who are Survivors, you betrayed MeToo, TimesUp, the already weak and tarnished reputation of the Dem. party, and overall and most importantly- your country.

You FAILED to be a decent human being. So, to end this, you clearly need me more than I need you or Biden. If you can’t represent what I hold dear and adhere to a code of conduct becoming a representative of the US Presidency, then I won’t be bullied by you or tolerate you forcing me to betray my code of decency. You won’t tarnish my moral compass. But, in the end, you’ll still need me.

Like trump supporters, you need what I represent- “The other”. I’m the one you’ll blame in November when Biden tanks and we get 4 more of trump because somehow in your addled brains you equate MY lack of support as support for the other side. I support neither because to me, they’re one in the same all working to promote the GOP agenda of utter shittiness. None of my values are being represented by Biden except by way of paltry lip service in order to get elected to his likely one term where he promised to literally change nothing. Yay. A real go-getter to save the working class and save the world from disease, poor education and climate change. Woo-hoo!

Biden Supporters ARE Rape Apologists

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THIS DUE PROCESS YOU USED TO SCREAM ABOUT WHEN IT WAS TRUMP OR KAVENAUGH???

The people Tara needed to go to for help refused to do so. At the top of that food chain was none other than Joe Biden himself. I'm sure if YOU were raped and the person you needed to report it to was your rapist, you'd get right on that, right? 

All of the rape-apologists out there scrambling to cover Joe's ass over Tara's story clearly never met a Survivor, talked to one, and got their stories. Victims of rape almost never talk about it immediately. There's recovery time due to shame, anger and a whole bag of emotions.

THEN, there's how much support they know they can count on. THEN there's the FACT that MEN and even women who instead of investigating the rapist, the tear the woman's life apart looking for dirt, call them whores for getting raped, and so on...

This is just on a low-level rape from an ordinary guy, not one of some position of power like a celebrity or politician. When Survivors raped by the rich and famous come out, they're discarded, humiliated, and over-examined to discredit them.

They have ZERO to gain by coming forward. NOTHING. They stand to lose EVERYTHING. Dr. Ford was bombarded with death threats and had to move repeatedly after coming forward about Kavenaugh. Who wants to go through that?

"She keeps changing her story" you say? You're an idiot. She has let out bits at a time, depending on her level of confidence in who she was talking to and her personal level of comfort. She's got multiple sources backing her from just after it happened.

Only Honest People Will Get Why I Will NOT Vote for Biden.

Currently, I cannot, in good conscience, vote for Joe.

Clearly, the Dems hate Sanders more than trump. They're already lining up Biden's loss and gearing up to blame Sanders' supporters and the election hasn't even happened yet.

Unlike other Dems/Indies, I REMEMBER how shitty Biden has been, his policies that were horrible, and how in danger SS & Medicare/Medicaid are. The thing is, being a sexual predator should NOT be considered a presidential trait, yet here we are. 

You need to make a moral choice here. You're either supporting #MeToo and survivors of rape and sexual assault OR you support Biden. You CAN NOT DO BOTH. If you do, you're a fucking hypocrite and I'd better not hear anyone piss and moan about Kavenaugh, Cosby, Weinstein or anyone else! 

I've gone rounds with people on this, but how easily we forget in this country. How easily we ignore sexual assault. How easily we forget that Al Franken had HIS career burned for less. We've seen VIDEOS of Biden acting like "Uncle Ernie" from "Tommy" around young women, smelling their hair and touching them and making them uncomfortable AND getting complaints about it. What's been done about it? Fuck-all NOTHING in true American fashion. All of it gets ignored and swept under a rug. 

I've been hoping that someone, ANYONE, would say something to move me or inspire me to swallow my morals and disregard my principles enough to suppress my gag reflex long enough to vote for Biden. Instead of hearing from a Thomas Paine, it's all been rhetoric about how I'd be supporting trump if I don't, and we all know that's BS. I voted for HRC because I was voting AGAINST trump, NOT for her. How'd that go, kids?

The closest people came was to point out that the next POTUS will probably be replacing RBG when she retires or, heaven forbid, pass away. However, given how disenfranchised voters are, given all the gerrymandering, given how Sanders was the MOST popular candidate and his run "mysteriously" tanked after the other pretenders dropped down to their knees to kiss and suck Biden in all sorts of places, nobody's asked for audits on the voting process, and considering that "Mayor Pete" has his name on the voting machines, that's all like making love under a tree at high noon- shady as fuck.

I'm 50 and I've got to tell you, this primary was the most uninspired crap I've ever experienced in the election process. It was a shit-show before it began. What did we learn from 2016? NADA.

It appears that the USA literally ENJOYS living in decadent poverty. They prefer guns over the safety of their children. They prefer living in fear of going bankrupt or destitute if they're hospitalized. They prefer trump! Dems/Indies simply have ZERO capacity for actually pulling themselves together to fight him.

The "Blue Wave" from last midterm? What did that yield? Nothing, really. They took the House. Yay. Without the Senate, they can achieve fuck-all nothing. This brings me back to RBG. Do ANY of you think for an instant that Joe will make a good choice to replace her? First off, it will NEVER be a Progressive or even Left-of-Center. Why? Because unless McConnell's shitcanned, it'll be just like when Obama was in office. Every nomination will be DENIED. This means, of course, that Biden, who is scarily ALL too eager to "work" with the GOP and the racists like he did in the past, won’t step up to compromise but will HAND more power to the GOP while the Dems get nothing in return. This GOP does NOT, repeat, NOT COMPROMISE. So RBG's replacement will HAVE to be some sweet GOP darlin' and the only 'win' from that will be if ol' Joe nominated that person and I'll tell you this- Under Biden, that replacement for RGB will tip things enough to that any jackwagon can own guns without ANY checks AND you can kiss Roe v. Wade "CHEERIO!".

Under Biden, you LOST M4A. That's no longer an option for at least 4 years. GONE. Post-epidemic, thousands will be tits-up BROKE not to mention destitute and homeless.

Under Biden, be sure to give the Green New Deal a friendly pat on the back before it rides out into the sunset because it is GONE! Done with! Paris Accord restoration or not, it won't be enough. You KNOW THIS.

I'm no Thomas Paine, but in this case, give us Sanders and a Progressive Congress or you're literally going to give us ALL death. This is not a complicated thing. History clearly has taught us NOTHING and the US runs a serious, existential risk of collapsing like the Roman Empire, the British Empire, the USSR and of course Napoleon's and Hitler's Europe.

We're proud, and don't even know why nor do we have a reason to be.

We've become a 2nd World Nation- We've got the money and tech of a 1st world nation with the mentality and morality of a 3rd world nation.

Essentially, the only way we're going to learn, apparently (and it breaks my heart to have to say or admit this) may actually be letting trump finish burning it down. THEN, MAYBE, the Left will quit fucking around, rise up and actually DO something instead of letting the lunatics run the asylum~!
