Domestic Fluff Samus HCs

Honestly, Samus struggles with normal ways of domesticity.

Most of the food she has is hunted alien or Galactic Federation MRE's

But expect her to knock on the ship's main door and open it with a hunted alien over her shoulders.

Samus is very proud about it and will cook it as a show that she is the mate for you.

Is always up earlier than you, she will cook breakfast or go kill some alien game and bring it home as stated earlier.

Very avid cuddler. Her metroid DNA makes so she doesn't like the cold, so when out of the version of the suit she's wearing, She find a way to maintain skin contact or any form of touch.

Metroids by nature and especially Samus now (as she is the last metroid) are protective of their species and those they'd hold value to (The baby metroid protected and gave it's like for Samus whom it valued)

This in essence means Samus is the big spoon, no ands, buts or ifs about it. She curls around you protectively and tucks her chin in the crook of your neck, arms wrapping around your waist firmly.

If you're in bed in this position, if you need something Samus will lift you with her, and carry you like a forward facing backpack.

If it's super cold in her ship, Samus will wrap you like a burrito in one of her blankets and set you on the counter as she makes hot coco.

When very content, Samus does emit a very low chirp in the back of her throat, a side effect of the metroid DNA.

Pretty good story teller if she's in the mood to talk (which really isn't often) she likes to tell of her childhood with the Chozo the best as those were her happiest memories.

If you ask nicely, yes she will speak some phrases in Chozo, you may not understand it, but damn if it doesn't make her even more hot I stg.

If she's piloting, Samus has a tendency to get lost in relatively intrusive thoughts, so she likes to have you in her lap as she pilots the space craft

Will point out some cool planets and along with having ADAM give her the facts.

Subconsciously, runs her hands through your hair as a stress reliever for both you and her. Hair ruffles? Hair ruffles.

She sometimes wakes up for no reason so one night she decided to take a walk over the ship to calm her nerves

That's when she spotted you up and about like it was morning when it clearly wasn't

So she asked you about it and you told her it was because you were an insomniac

She grew very concerned that you weren't getting enough sleep

The next night, she asked if you could come and snuggle with her that night

And she continued asking you to cuddle with her each night until she finally got you to sleep

She had a silent celebration party in her head

The next morning, you could tell how proud and happy she was that you'd finally been able to sleep a whole night through

And hey since it worked once now you got an excuse to snuggle with Samus every night

Samus Aran (Fluff) - Hot Coco

A/N: This is scenery writing practice as well as self indulgent fluff.

You wake up in a much groggier state than usual, eyes cracking open to the dimly lit door light installed in the pressurized sleeping space. You roll your neck hearing a couple pops before looking towards the clock at your side.

4:03 AM

Your body and mind didn't exactly feel tired enough to slink back under the covers and sleep, so you get up. Grunting, you sling your feet over the side of the bed and scoot at the edge allowing one foot to reach the ground. You bite back a hiss at the cold metal floors, but press the other foot down regardless. The blanket wrinkles in your grip as you yank it off the bed and cocoon yourself as to retain some of your warmth in the cold of your girlfriend's spacecraft. The door hisses as it depressurizes, allowing you to step through it as you make your way to the kitchen counter to grab a tall mug and heat up the kettle for hot water. Turning your head, you see your girlfriend without her armor simply donning her old worn Galactic Federation recruit sweats and hoodie. Her fingers tapping languidly on the console, opening various bounties on the screen.

Your focus shifts when the kettle's top releases light shafts of steam before beeping in notice of the hot contents inside. You grip the kettle's rubber handle and pour the hot water into the ceramic mug acquired earlier. Fetching a pack of hot chocolate powder from the cabinet, you tear the corners of each with your teeth before grabbing a spoon and stirring the mix methodically into the hot water. Setting the spoon into the sink and unplugging the kettle, you make your way over to the cockpit, where Samus was seated, slumped against the back of her chair. You tap her shoulder and present the steaming mug of hot coco to her. Her eyebrows lift and her body language straightens in delighted surprise, she takes the mug with one hand and uses the other to take your smaller hand in her larger calloused one. Half lidded tired cerulean eyes flicker up to meet yours as she presses your hand against your lips, a gesture of gratitude. Her one kiss against the top of your hand turns to many as she stands to lead the myriad of kisses along your arm, shoulder, up your neck and to your cheek. Her other hand brings the mug up to her lips and you can hear her sigh of content as she finishes sipping before setting the mug in a cup holder installed into her chair.

Standing at her full height, Samus pulls you into her arms and lets out an affectionate hum as she rests her chin atop your head. You do your best to wrestle both arms from under your blanket cocoon to return the embrace. Samus herself has very high body heat, it almost feels that you could forgo the blanket all together. Can't sleep? her voice rough with lack of use. You nod and hold her tighter, sighing into her chest. The bounty hunter rubs at your back before tapping your shoulder and pointing to the fiber glass front window to her ship Look. Turning your gaze, you take notice immediately of one of Talon IV's remaining moons eclipsing the sun, the light of the sun shedding on a distant asteroid belt giving it a gleaming effect that makes it look like glitter in the depths of space. Your mouth drops in awe It's beautiful, nothing like back home and you don't realize that your girlfriend has pulled back to admire the look of surprise plastered upon your face. It is nothing compared to you. You feel your face heat up immensely, the intergalactic bounty hunter you find yourself enraptured with isn't a woman of many words, but the few she uses are always impactful.

One of your hand gently pries your flustered face from burrowing into her collar. Samus smiles though small, it carries warmth and you can't help but return it. She leans down and lifts you just a smidge and kisses you. Her mouth melding smoothly with yours, an exception being her rough cracked lips, but you really could care less. Samus was not raised to be soft, and rarely showed the traits of a soft lover and you love her for it. You love the rough and the soft, and it's moments like these where she shows her soft side, pulling you into her toned frame and kissing the breath from your lips. You don't mind the rough nights either, where she presses you hard into the mattress and goes down on you in a way that has you clawing at her back and muffling shrieks of pleasure into her shoulder. Tonight, how ever, she feels in need of the peace that is constantly denied from her. Her lips pull away and the bounty hunter's eyes meet yours, in an intense gaze that is filled with affection.

Samus doesn't really need sleep with her genes, but she can see the hand you reach up with and try to rub the sleep from your eyes. Go back to the cabin and sleep. You shake your head and press yourself tighter against her torso. Samus sighs, but gets an idea. You were perfectly content standing there being held by your girlfriend, but that plan quickly changes as she hoists you by the rear and splaying your thighs on either side of her hips as she sits in her pilots chair, you settled onto the apex of her hips snugly. She grips the blanket that has hiked down your body from being carried and wraps your upper half in it, propping your head to rest against her collar. Samus presses a kiss to the side of your head as you let out a content sigh. Samus runs a hand through your hair, feeling you relax into her. With one hand on her hot coco, the other on her mapping device, she decides to type in the coordinates for the nearest space hub, maybe a vacation is in order.

Samus w/ Sleep Deprived S/O

A/N: OK NO THIS ISN'T ENTIRELY A REPOST, SO BECAUSE MY LAST GROUP OF HCS HAD THE WORD "INS0MNIA/1NS0MNIAC TUMBLR FLAGGED IT AND MADE IT SO IT WOULDN'T SHOW UP UNDER THE SAMUS X READER TAG. anyways self indulgent Samus with a sleep deprived S/O.

A/n - self-indulgent considering I wrestle with severe insomnia regularly.

Samus has irregular sleeping habits, but does what she needs to in order to survive semi comfortably.

Your health and well being are a major aspect she'd like to protect

There are few Samus can trust outside of ADAM, and you. The Federation screwed her over too many times.

So yes she cares a whole lot.

At first she doesn't particularly notice it despite being as perceptive as she is, she is aloof to human behaviors, but she immediately picks up on a lack of energy in the mornings and increasingly dark and heavy bags.

She asks ADAM, who relays that by monitoring your vitals, reveals your insomnia to Samus.

Samus immediately grows concerned.

The next night, as you were ready for another night of struggling, Samus pulls you close flush against her chest, pulling the blanket up over the two of you.

I know you haven't been sleeping

You bury your head into the crook of her neck in shame.

Samus hums in acknowledgment and proceeds to have one hand rubbing against your back and one carding gently through your hair.

She smiles to herself in a small victory when she feels you relax against her

Better?

You nod as best as you can into her shoulder as her hand travels from your hair to the nape of your neck and rubs gently into the tense tissue there.

A light groan of satisfaction pulls itself out of your mouth. You start to feel drowsy and so you turn in her arms, grabbing her wrists and pulling her arms around you.

Samus tightens them around your waist and curls around your body, providing good warmth on a ship that usually ran at the temperature of a fridge.

Her fingers trace idle patterns along your midriff and you can feel her leave slow light kisses against your neck and then cheek.

Sleep, I will watch over you.

Samus - In Shock (Oneshot)

A/N: You know how in Super Metroid the baby metroid was able to give Samus energy? Listen, samus is pretty much a metroid at this point, I'm going to ignore Dread's idea of samus only able to absorb energy for this excerpt but that's what happening here.

It was on a cold night staying on another foreign planet in Samus' ship, the bounty hunter was absent, out hunting for dinner as the four moons of the estranged planet glowed eerily from the cock pit of the gun ship. You didn't feel that something was quite right, your hand slowly trailing along the side of the nearest fall feeling for the rubber gripped laser pistole strapped by the console. A faint clicking could be heard in the room, and without hesitation, you whip around and aiming up at the hideous malformed expression of a clearly, very vengeful space pirate. It squinted down at you, letting out a series of clicks and gurgles before swiping at you with a claw. You attempt to roll, but the razor-sharp claw catches your ankles, slicing deeply, knocking you prone. The space pirate lets out a pleased screech and stalks towards you, its clawed talons scraping against titanium flooring.

You scramble and use your good legs to propel yourself back, aiming the pistol and shooting, directing into one of the pirate's eyes, its head whipping back, one of its eyes clearly decommissioned It oozed glowing yellow vile goo onto the floor. It shrieked loudly, enough to make your ears ring and it marched closer, it's claw clamping around your waist ripping painfully into your abdomen, and pinning you against a wall, your good leg flailing to prop itself against the alien to shove it off to no avail. It leaned in close, opening its maw, its mandibles flexing angrily before flashing an array of razor-sharp teeth. it hisses before whipping its head behind it only to have a large hand dig into its gouged eye, seemingly draining its life source.

The space pirate screams one against attempting to get it's very similar invader's hold off of it's head, but it's movements grow weaker as it's energy strains, it's massive claw drops your bleeding body to the floor, it's own body dissipating into nothingness. Looking up blearily, you catch a glimpse of your savoir, the very pilot of the gunship you're on.

Samus Aran, glowing with energy.

Her posture is calm, but her eyes betray her, as they frantically look around the room for something to stem the bleeding, she sprints down the hallway before coming back with a towel. The bounty hunter slides to her knees beside you and props you into a more comfortable position against the wall. You begin to feel dizzy and take note of the blood beginning to pool around you, vision beginning to go hazy. Samus presses the towel firmly across your abdomen, her hands doing their best not to shake. She won't lose you. She can't lose you. Your breathing slows, tears of pain stream down your face, teeth bared and clenched, head wringed to the side in agony. Samus notices your lack of respiratory activity and lightly slaps her palm against the side of your face.

Breathe, damnit breathe!

You can barely hear her as your body begins to feel fuzzy. Samus is still glowing with energy recalls of when the baby metroid saved her life and decides to go with a last ditch idea. With both hands, she pulls her helmet off, air vents hissing at the depressurization. She cradles your jaw gently, the other pressed against the wall beside you as she leans in, her mouth pressing rough against yours. Samus focuses on the feeling of the pirates' life force in her and visualizes it coursing through her veins. She feels it and presses further into you, eliciting a shocked gasp of pain from you. Samus hates it. She hates seeing you like this. She hates the taste of your blood against her lips as she slides her tongue firmly against your bottom lip and is granted access immediately. She lets the energy flow from herself to you, relaxing ever so slightly as she senses your body, taking the energy in.

You feel a warm hot sensation course through you. The wound on your ankle, as well as the one across your abdomen, are burning hotly. You cry out into Samus' mouth, but she only presses herself closer, rare tears sliding quietly from her eyes as one of her metallic hands finds yours before lacing her fingers with it. You squeeze the bounty hunters hand, feeling her squeeze lightly in return. Feeling the extra energy leave her, Samus pulls back, eyes dilated as she leans back, her hand pulling itself from the wall, leaving behind a small indent in the metal behind it. Her eyes flicker down your body, taking notice that your wounds have sealed up, though your ankle hands at an odd angle, but that's something she could easily fix later, for now you needed rest. She could see the post shock level of panic rising to your face, and she squeezed your hand again.

Breathe. I've got you. You're safe.

Samus aids you to match her breathing with her before moving to scoop your carefully into her arms. Your ankle jostles slightly and you bite your lip to muffle a grunt of pain, Samus walks your to your shared room and lays you gently upon the sheets, walking over to the minifridge and pulling out and ice pack. She elevates your leg and hands you an uncapped water bottle, tilting it gently against your mouth and assisting you in leaning up to drink it safely. Leaning you back down, she sets the water bottle on the bedside stand and steps away to deactivate her power suit. The bounty hunter lifts up the blankets and drapes it over the two of you as you tuck yourself in her side, one of her arms curled protectively around you. A low relieved chittering emits from the back of Samus' throat before pulling herself closer, leaning down and leaving a gentle kiss on your temple. Finally safe, the two of you fall into a relieved slumber.

She's been through a lot in her life so when she finally gets to settle down with you it's a huge relief to her

Expect lots of cuddles especially when it's time to sleep

She's often the big spoon but doesn't mind cuddling in other positions as long as she gets to hold you

Some mornings, she'll bring back some alien meat since it's what she's used to eating but at least she's good at cooking it!

She can be a little paranoid about losing you due to her losing many loved ones, so when she clings to you for no reason, just let her so she can see you're safe

She really wants to slow dance with you but she doesn't know how to but that won't stop her from trying

And when both of you trip and you fall on top of her, at least you're both laughing
