05.07 // I am full of excitement and joy and new people and new knowledge and nerdery and exhaustion after Metropolcon yesterday!
I love books and talking about books and hearing people talk about books!!! Only took three home with me to spare my poor wallet sadly.... (+ a free magazine on weird finnish short fiction) And the spider was made by a lovely person at the Dublin Bid for 2029 table! I am so enriched talking to so many cool people!
One cool thing about in person cons is that random people can strike up a conversations and it ends up with them offering to teach you how to knit.
Tomorrow she's gonna bring me some yarn and needles and teach me the basics.
I thought maybe during in person cons I would write down less book recommendations. But so far after one panel I already got 7 books and 2 authors on my list.
Haven't even fully recovered from the fusion festival and now for the next 3 days I am at MetropolCon.
Actually my first in person con in AGES.
