If you could design a dragon breed for FR, what would it look like and what would its lore be like? :0

Well... around the time the Veilspun were being designed, I had an idea for an Arcane ancient and made Posts about it! The bits of lore I made around it, and the old art.

Although I never did come up with a name with them, and I still haven't xjggdjxgk

Honestly creature design is so much fun for me- especially if I get to draw dragons- so I made another drawing of this little guy :)

For the ask game- I think I'd go for Silrucan! He seems super chill and also I love puzzles & books just like he does :D

yesss Silrucan the gargoyle tundra! very handsome c: he's the clan's locksmith....he has the key to your heart ;D he's a bit shy and private, but he'd love to chill and work on puzzles with you! it'd be a very nice time!

Oof, picking only five dergs to review was not easy. Your lair is vast and beautiful. After long time of consideration I decided which dergs to put here:

Zelda: Mint is one of my favorite colors. While not a big fan of slime/sludge it is perfect for her, I admit that with no grudge. She is gorgeous holy fuck. The way her mint secondary and tertiary works so well with her grey skin primary? *A thousand Chef’s Kisses*. I really like her outfit plan, it goes so well with her colors and it does fit her job of being a researcher! A very fancy one but researcher nonetheless! I have never played any of the zelda games, but I do noticed the name references :D

Storm: What a character. What a story. Wow, she went through a lot. I really like how she changed over the years, but still retains some traits of her younger years. Change is a force of life, a sign of growth. Okay I actually started a philosophical rant about this and went off tangent lol. Back on topic: Aqua toxin is an amazing combination, and I really like how well it works with her black savannah primary. Her dark primary make her eyes really pop out. Her outfit is minimalistic but tbh she doesn’t need much more. So, a beautfiul dragon with fascination lore. I wanna give her a hug.

Eosphoros: What a gorgeous derg! I love his soft yet vibrant colors. I wasn’t aware that buttercup striation looks like this! He is so pleasing to look at! I’m glad you didn’t give him too much apparel, the scarf and the flower are enough imo. I really enjoy his lore too. A mute and deaf coatl who found joy in colors and travelled around sornieth to meet more people and find more techniques and colors for dying fabrics, and finding friends in the process, is a wonderful story. He has so much amazing art in his bio and yeah, he is just delightful!

Vestrin: A radio host! I haven’t seen one yet and I love the idea. It’s hilarious that he kinda became one by accident. His colors are so beautiful. Beige Jaguar is amazing, and spruce butterfly has the perfect accent colors to go with it. His maize tertiary finishes the look. His outift looks so good on him. It doesn’t look like a radio host but then again radio hosts are just being listened to and not watched, so he can wear whatever the fuck he wants. I really like the combination of the rags with the nurtured cluster. The fit colorwise and all in all the apparel gives Vestrin desert vibes which I love a lot!

Sterling: The keeper of the treasury. Yeah no I wouldn’t want to face him and would think twice about stealing from the clan’s treasures. He looks firece. I really like how subtle the skincent is on him. It is not the focus, but adds to his overall appearance in a more subtle way instead. His outfit looks practical and kinda comfy, and I can’t even explain why. I feel like he smells like freshly cut grass, herbs and petrichor.

Koa’s flaming hamster

Koa’s flaming hamster made me lose words

I love striaton with different colour accents, esp. with Eosphoros it just gives his colours such a nice palette... And Anemone just has incredible matchiness even with the pinstripe accents with just minimal apparel and I absolutely adore how it looks (same with Cassandra, sometimes little apparel looks so, so good!)

2: How easy is it for your character to laugh? She enjoys a good joke, and will gladly laugh and joke with any visitors of her bakery! If you’re nice you get a free cookie!

4: How easy is it to earn their trust? You walk into her bakery and you’re her grandkid it’s as simple as that, nobody would dare to misuse that trust, because shame on you if you did!!

13: What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color? She wears whites usually, because she’s covered in flour a lot so that’s easiest. I’m not sure if she still dresses fancily, I haven’t really put much thought into that but I bet she’d look beautiful in a flowing dress and some ribbons, in similar colours to herself

35: How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive? Oh yes without a doubt, so long as she’s not busy with baking she’ll pay close attention, and give support if needed, though even if she’s busy she’ll still listen<3

He would be... so beautiful.... and I wish I could... and now I am cursed with his perfect self.(I still love him as a guardian but still, this is beautiful)

I'd love to know the origin behind the names of Chiaroscuro, Siciliane, Fizzard, and Calabasas! Hope that isn't too many svjsjs

Chiara! Since she hatched with a monochromatic white-dark grey color scheme, the art term Chiaroscuro (which literally is italian for Light-dark) seemed fitting for her! Plus I got to nickname her Chiara, which is one of my favorite italian names c: it’s the italian form of Claire!

Siciliane! He’s a pizza snapper and needed a fitting name for that. I was looking up stuff but couldn’t really settle on anything, and my sister came up with Siciliane for him, from Sicilian pizza, so I decided to go with it! To be honest, I’m not actually sure why my sister chose the e ending since it's the feminine plural form. i guess Siciliane is just gnc af c:

Fizzard! Ok so one of my first hatches was this dragon who was a surprise double from two parents with a wide range! My friend wanted her and named her Luckypheel after me! My friend offered to do a dragon trade for it, so I got this icy noodle in return! Since Luckypheel was named after me, I thought it only made sense to name this dragon after my friend’s original username, Fizzywits, combined with blizzard, since the dragon was triple ice haha.

And Calabasas! She’s named after the city in California, since it’s believed to come from calabazas, which is spanish for pumpkins! a fitting name for an autumn-looking girl! I actually pronounce her name like the spanish word rather than the California city though, the spanish a’s sound nicer. I probably should have just used the actual spanish word when naming her haha
