I’m posting this one separately, partially because I’m so proud of the results (this is probably the shiniest bot I’ve ever drawn) and partially because he has such a complex design, I did some extra sketches to ensure I could draw him and I wanted to include them.
(His profile mentions that he loves airbrushing anything that walks, so I instantly included stray cats in that category. Just imagining him trying to chase down alleycats with an airbrush...)
Wanted to let you know that I have no idea who NIS is so my brain keeps autocorrecting NIS to Nine Inch Sails. I'm guessing they're a strict publisher.
Yeah, it stands for Nippon Ichi Software, a dev/publisher whose output consists almost entirely of niche, super-weeb-y (and I mean that in a descriptive way rather than a judgmental one) RPGs of varying quality. The Disgaea series is probably the least obscure thing they put out, and the only thing that seems to make them any money. Most of their releases run on a “we have a small but consistent audience and it isn’t worth trying to expand beyond that niche” philosophy, which I feel is kinda hurting Mad Rat Dead because it’s different enough from their usual anime SRPGs that it could probably find a bigger audience if they tried to promote it, but they’re doing the same “make enough for preorders and no more/don’t bother advertising it because 90% of our buyers are online enough to be tracking our games themselves” approach they normally use.

There's nothing I want more in the world than a mod of SA2 that changes Sonic's "Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog" at the end of the game to "Hasta la vista, Shadow the Hedgehog". Nothing else changed, just that.

I don't know if you are still wondering about this, but it is possible to play WWHD with just the Gamepad! Press the - button to switch from the TV screen to Gamepad. I'm pretty sure there's an option to switch in the game's pause menu, too. I used to play WWHD with just the Gamepad in my room upstairs, so I know it's definitely a thing.
