I didn't study for it but my dad was freaking out about the scores I guess and all it did was automatically send me scores to colleges who then harassed me with letters until i graduated
that’s literally what happened with me (lmao i didnt even study for the sats man)
but im also confused about where the “scores are important!!” narrative came from bc like p much everyone who took it with me knew they didnt mean anything
(i took it both junior and senior year - junior for colleges and senior just as a sort of practice for the sats lmao) but like even then it basically tells you they’re useless???
like idk about you but it advertised itself to us as “good practice for the sats!!! students who take the psats habitually do better on the sats than students who dont!!!”
other than that they’re useless
