Wavves & Fucked Up Tour + Mexican Knives @ the Magic Stick
Yesterday was another cold, rainy night in downtown Detroit. But by way of surf/stoner rock act Wavves, the Venice Beach sun could be easily imagined above chilled MotorCity. Last night's show at the Magic Stick marked the last leg of the perfectly matched Wavves and Fucked Up Tour. The Friday night crowd was tireless in their perpetual moshing and a finale of rushing the stage. Wavves and Fucked Up supplied a sweaty sweaty eveningー despite the absent California sun. Check out the video of the impossibly polite Fucked Up. Damian's stage presence is commendableー embracing his crowd shirtless. Also, hometown band Mexican Knives opened.
