Oh absolutely! Among all the Hypogeans, the only one I don't like is Lucretia. Mezoth is incredible! His story is legit my favorite in the entire game! It reads like a really great creepypasta and I absolutely DIG that.

Mezoth's design is phenomenal! Four arms, that giant gaping maw on his stomach, the helmet, the vaguely cutlery-shaped weapons... he's a horror in the most amazing way possible. Humanoid just enough to be recognizable, and different just the right amount to land smack in the middle of the uncanny valley! For a demon? The absolutely perfect design.

I also do very much like his skillset! Not only is he the chonkiest tankiest character in the game but his first splash attack deals massive damage and his ult gives him damage mitigation, healing AND damages enemies! He has been falling off lately because of Alna but he is still incredible even at low investment and can carry you through the entire early game with just a single copy!

I wish we had more info on him, more interactions but so far the only Hypogeans receiving such treatment are Lucretia and Zolzol (not that I regret Zolrath, his content is always an absolute BANGER). Maybe one day...

50 – Mezoth

Backstory (honestly one of the coolest ones in my humble opinion): I'll be honest, I can't tell this story. It reads like a really good creepypasta and you just have to experience it so here.

(If anyone wants to transcribe the pictures, be my guest! I'd do it myself but I'm still on phone and it's really tedious.)

Class: Tank

Personal opinion: I've always seen Mezoth as a character with a very cool design who was really strong and whom I never wanted. I didn't read his story until recently and it was a huge mistake on my side because DAMN that was a ride! I recently became very interested in the Hypogeans as a whole (except for like uh... two of them I think) as Mezoth is just such a badass! This guy is brutal! The damage on his first strike is THROUGH THE ROOF and his ult is just the best thing! And on top of that, he can heal himself for insane amounts of HP (just to give you a better idea, on one of my profiles, my Mezoth is on Elite and lvl 121 and he heals 41M HP three times in a row). On top of that, those slurred lines of his that are hard to understand but still barely possible to make out? That's just awesome. And the napkin thing? And how he can drag and enemy and literally butcher them like a pig? Good lord that is some really savage guy!

Headcanon: I saw people callinf him and Ezizh brothers but personally I think he would get along with Mortas way better. It's a comical sight though – Mortas with his posh prim and proper table manners gently sipping his wine and opposite to him Mezoth is almost gobbling up the table together with everything on it!
