* This exhibition vernissage runs concurrently with MFA Open Studios! This exhibition explores the slippage between what makes a thing a mode of display, how hierarchies are developed, how the thing used to display “art” may or may not be considered “art” itself, or what can or is supposed to occur on the plinth or platform. Does a plinth become a platform when a performance takes place?
