Reaction to Kyouya’s words when rewatching the show: 🤣🤣🤣

Destiny and scenarists are just so laughing at his face with this scene. Because what happens to Kyouya, episodes later, when he leaves?

Yeah. He gets surrounded by little kids and has to play with them (at least one of them : Yuu tricks him easily into Beybattling him) and cares about them.

Twice Ginga was borderline manipulative

"The number one blader doesn't give up!"

- to Masamune, episode 71

Little reminder: Ginga spent the whole beginning of Metal Masters arguing and muttering Masamune isn't the number one. Masamune is about to lose to Nile, so Ginga uses Masamune’s own motto to push him to fight (despite not believing in it).

"Remember when you stood up to Ryuuga Yuuki. (...) It you truly can do it, that's why the star fragment went to you, isn't it?"

- to Yuuki, episode 111

This is cajoling someone to push them doing whatever you ask them too. It doesn't look like heartfelt encouragement. It felt calculated.

(Once again, he uses something the person he is with cares deeply about to make them react.)

Once Ginga acknowledged it frankly

Kyouya: Hey? How long are you gonna keep wasting time like this?

Ginga Hagane, hero of the show, acknowledges he helps the tiny kid about Beyblade because he sees it as the quickest way to reach their goal. He’s even smiling all the while. Really? This isn't heroic. This is so grey. (I love it!)

I'm pretty sure he acknowledged it only because Kyouya was here and annoyed about the time they were wasting (look at his pouting face 😆). He’s more straightforward when his rival is around.

I just love how Ginga and Ryuuga like to annoy Kyouya in the bey-battle

"My Pegasus is by far the powerful, because it's an attack-type."

"Do you really think a defense-type bey can actually match the power in my L-Drago?"

They both know this is a sensitive point for him XD

Kyouya’s instinct of self-preservation is faint, almost nonexistent

Episode 8 (Metal Fusion)

Daidouji: “Not a single person lives within the area as far as your eyes can see. Now it's completely uninhabited. The cliffs are incredibly steep. No one has ever climbed to the top. (...) Legend has it that the king of beasts, a lion, throw its cub into a deep valley and only raised the ones that would crawl back out. The true warrior proves himself only when he faces a seemingly impossible challenge. We call this the fang of the heart. Climb to the top of this cliff and awaken the warrior sleeping within you.”

Kyouya: “Ah! That sounds interesting.”

(For once Doji didn't lie... Well, Kyouya had time to regret it after he jumps into the valley... with a parachute... that wasn’t a good idea either)

Episode 72 (Metal Masters)

Kyouya, in a disappointed voice: “There's nothing here. That's pretty lame for a valley of storm.”

Episode 106 (Metal Fury)

“Hmm. This looks promising.”

Episode 129

And his disappointed look when he notices the monster is just a cute little kid.

“What? You're kidding. This is the monster?”

Me: Yeah. This is the monster. What were you hoping for, exactly?

(This lure for danger may be or may be not linked to his hate for boredom)

Episodes 106 and 107 are a real fun to watch

Ryuuga was so disappointed by Kyouya's and Ginga's behavior, especially since he already explained to Ginga that a true blader knows their bey. There, Kyouya and Ginga act totally enthusiastic about their new power, thinking they became strong enough to crush Ryuuga, and he was just like "Why did I think these two brats were not-so-bad bladers?"

"This Fang Leone has the same power of the star fragment inside it that your L-Drago has, so let's do this. (...) The battle conditions are equal. Time to learn that you can't remain the strongest forever."

Me: What's the logic in there? Do you forget the blader's own strenght?

"It's sound like you're having less fun." (translation of the quote "Tu t'amuses moins, on dirait." from the French dub)

- Ginga to Ryuuga, episode 107

Me: Yeah, great idea Ginga, to taunt the Dragon Emperor. How it can possibly go wrong?

Answer: they were both was crushed.

What's the point? He just came out of the volcano. Right before your eyes!
