Twice Ginga was borderline manipulative

"The number one blader doesn't give up!"

- to Masamune, episode 71

Little reminder: Ginga spent the whole beginning of Metal Masters arguing and muttering Masamune isn't the number one. Masamune is about to lose to Nile, so Ginga uses Masamune’s own motto to push him to fight (despite not believing in it).

"Remember when you stood up to Ryuuga Yuuki. (...) It you truly can do it, that's why the star fragment went to you, isn't it?"

- to Yuuki, episode 111

This is cajoling someone to push them doing whatever you ask them too. It doesn't look like heartfelt encouragement. It felt calculated.

(Once again, he uses something the person he is with cares deeply about to make them react.)

Once Ginga acknowledged it frankly

Kyouya: Hey? How long are you gonna keep wasting time like this?

Ginga: You should keep your shirt on. Even if bladers are not welcomed in that village back there, there is a kid who play with beys. I think our only hope of connecting with the village is through our new friend Sala.

Ginga Hagane, hero of the show, acknowledges he helps the tiny kid about Beyblade because he sees it as the quickest way to reach their goal. He’s even smiling all the while. Really? This isn't heroic. This is so grey. (I love it!)

I'm pretty sure he acknowledged it only because Kyouya was here and annoyed about the time they were wasting (look at his pouting face 😆). He’s more straightforward when his rival is around.
