Hugo x Liam Payne , the collaboration between the former member of One direction and the German label is strengthened and once again unite to present a sustainable collection, created with the support of Cotton made in Africa .
The third chapter of an articulated project (see MFF of 16 May), the capsule was born from the common desire for a better future, in the name of a responsible and sustainable approach to fashion. Each of the nine pieces that make up the collection is made in support of Cotton made in Africa, the initiative aimed at improving the living conditions of African cotton farmers and their families, which uses environmentally friendly methods of cotton cultivation.
Unisex pieces in an earthy color palette such as off white, beige, khaki and clay, featuring prints or a nature-inspired chevron pattern. T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, polo shirts, a shirt dress and trousers are the items that make up the capsule. Protagonist is the Hugo logo, reinterpreted both as a detail and in an oversized shape.
“I think with everything going on this year, we're all thinking about the future a lot more than we did before,” says Liam Payne. "I am proud of what we have achieved with this collection which highlights the work done by Cotton made in Africa".
The collection is available on the official Hugo Boss website.
