Making Friends for Dummies // Cas & Donna
Castiel was trudging slowly back from checking the sigils along the perimeter, grimacing at the soreness in his feet. His shoes were fast becoming uncomfortable. He stared down at the blood on his hands, frowning as the cuts still bled sluggishly.
Healing was getting slower. And… they… theyhurt. He sighed in frustration and tried to shuffle a little faster towards his cabin to clean himself up and take off these damn shoes. Then, he saw a flash of red hair.
The woman who was often with the doctor. He’d heard good things about her. And… that red hair kind of reminded him of Anna. Castiel frowned at the spike of guilt. He changed course abruptly as a thought struck him and shoved his bloody hands in his pockets. Knowing Sam and Dean was all well and good, but it was time he worked on being human and made actual friends. Donna Noble was probably one of the most human people in the camp. She’d be a good influence on him, and maybe be able to give good, simple advice. He unfurled his wings and used them to push himself forward, enjoying the few seconds of flight before landing right in front of Donna, an awkward smile on his face.
“Hello, Donna. I’m Castiel,” he stated bluntly.
