My first pre-nuptial short film created especially for the newly weds Chelssy and Stephen Go. Who by the way are my personal friends. The couple wanted something cute and bubbly similar to their relationship's aura. We shot the entire short film in one day!
The idea:
In real life, Chelssy (the girl) has a pet cat which she really adored. In reality, her pet cat Morthee (also the cat in the video) got lost, Chelssy and her family went crazy went looking for Morthee. Fortunately they found it after several days. Although Stephen (guy) in reality didn't have to do with finding the cat again (similar to the video). But I created a fictional story on how Chelssy and Stephen started their infatuation to one another that I linking to the cat. To make it look cute, I came up w/the idea about Morthee got lost and eventually found by Stephen. It's really just a simple story with no high drama or whatever. The couple was really fun to work with and it's always refreshing to see the audiences' reaction as they watched the video during the wedding day. Priceless!
We shot it with a canon 5d, a canon 60d, glidecam mount and w/25 ft. jib on some shots. Thanks to MG video for their equipments, crew and post production.
