How is 3D Animation used in the Industry?
3D animation contains 3D computer programs like Autodesk Maya or any other software’s allows you to produce any type of image imaginable, from a generalized painting to realistic animation.
3D animation is used in different industries for numerous purpose, these includes movies, video games, and television, interior designing and architecture, medical. All of these have been used for entertainment and technical environment. An example of 3D animation used in television would be channels like MTV, Disney and in movies it would be toy story, Jurassic park, Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Finding Nemo, Spiderman and many others.
Key framing:
Key framing is the simplest form of animating an object. The key frame is in animation and filmmaking based on drawing that expresses the starting and ending points of transition and this is called “frames because their position in time is measured in frames on a line of film. It can be changed over a time to position, form colour or any other property, to some different final form.
Rigging:
A character rig is basically a digital skeleton bound to the 3D mesh. A rig is made up of joints and bones. It is similar to the bones tools in flash. The rigging process first requires the animator to first know about the character and decide what skeleton it need and they need to see how to move the character before they move on. Rigging is one of the principle tasks of 'Technical Animator' roles.
